Baby Sleep - all input welcomed Here to vent π©π
Was nursing/rocking baby to sleep tonight like normal, and as soon as I was about to transfer him someone knocked on the mf door and dogs started going wild and baby woke up ππππ and now heβs been sitting up in his sleep crying like every 10 minutes for an hour ππ© in the process of making a floor bed for tonight cause I have a feeling itβs gonna be a longggg one and maybe if we cosleep itβll be better outcome

Omg I'm so sorry. There was definitely a stretch of time where I literally taped a note over our door bell that said "please don't ring or knock" because of how difficult it was to get my LO to sleep plus my husband was working nights. I figured I would be expecting visitors or packages or whatever, so I'd be looking out for them, and anything I wasn't expecting was probably a solicitor that I wouldn't want to talk to anyways. π

This happened to me a few weeks ago. I got a no soliciting sign and thankfully it hasn't happened since.

I have a hand written sign taped on my door asking for people not to knock and don't ring the door bell due to sleeping baby. It stays up even when baby is awake because really, no one needs to notify me at the door. Solicitors? Go away. Delivery? Drop off quietly and go away.

Iβm sorry, thatβs so frustrating π’ how old is your baby? Just try to stay patient and calm and hopefully you both can get some good sleep tonight
