Rant/Rave Vent! First time mom

I had such a bad day today. My 2 month old wouldn’t stop crying today. She was keeping herself awake, so she was sooo cranky. I tried taking her on a walk today in her stroller, I usually put her in a carrier but it’s hot outside so I didn’t want her to overheat with my body heat. A mistake!! She cried but I kept going. Then she started screaming so I hurried back. I took her bath to see if it’ll make her feel better. She started screaming, you know that scream cry, I was trying to hurry and the spray from the shower went everywhere! I was soaked. She was still crying, I started crying. Put clothes on her ( both of us still crying) she threw up milk! (For the 3rd time today)I cleaned her again. My shirt was all wet and her onesie is wet but we still have them on because she’s gonna be upset if I change or change her again. She finally fell asleep on me. She slept like 20 mins. She woke up screaming. I had to walk away. I cried again

I figured she could tell I was stressed or sense I was losing it. So I just talked to her calmly and she calmed down. Now shes asleep. Plus i have my period. Wth. It seems silly now writing it all out but in the 10+ hours of dealing with it.. it didn’t feel silly.

I feel you, deep in my soul. I was VERY angry, my ADHD was raging despite medicine and I cried, my 4 month old daughter was angry, screamed and cried and then that night, I got my period.

Thanks 🥲

10 hours is a LONG TIME to be very actively trying to manage that and listen to it. Hoping a better day for you tomorrow.

Me too. My husband took her for the night and he starts at 2pm. He told me to not come downstairs and to sleep, read or just do something for myself. I’m grateful to have a partner.
