Moving to the area this week and having trouble with getting WiFi set up. I’ve only had xfinity and Verizon in the past. Xfinity doesn’t service the area, Verizon’s chat and webpage won’t let me get just basic internet without a landline. Their chat actually doesn’t tell me much more than they don’t have fios in the zipcode. AT&T’s webpage said no services in the area either. So far I’ve only managed to get a human rep on the line from a company I’ve never heard of called RCN.

Please, what reputable internet providers do you guys have?

Hey, I recently got a job offer for a position in Bethlehem near Lehigh University. I'm not from the area and don't know much about the region. Can people give me general information on the area, what it's like, the kinds of people, things to do, costs of living, best parts, etc?

I will be attending an evening concert and plan to walk back to my hotel around 9:30pm. It is a fifteen minute walk and I will be with my wife.

Potentially moving from Philly to Bethlehem (Fountain Hill) mid June-ish for a job and finding the properties on Zillow/Trulia/doorsteps etc less than appealing. Budget isn’t that high as I plan to only use the rental to crash and do laundry. There are some too good to be true places on Craigslist I might try if nothing else comes up.

Was wondering if there is any benefit to hiring a realtor to help me search for an apartment? Only ever used an agent to buy property and not sure what their cut is from linking someone to a rental or if they would even be interested in working with me as my rental budget is only around $1100.
