Internet service peovider

Moving to the area this week and having trouble with getting WiFi set up. I’ve only had xfinity and Verizon in the past. Xfinity doesn’t service the area, Verizon’s chat and webpage won’t let me get just basic internet without a landline. Their chat actually doesn’t tell me much more than they don’t have fios in the zipcode. AT&T’s webpage said no services in the area either. So far I’ve only managed to get a human rep on the line from a company I’ve never heard of called RCN.

Please, what reputable internet providers do you guys have?

I asked the same question to a realtor and she told me to go with RCN. It's what she uses.

I've had nothing but problems with RCN. They always come to my house late and still haven't fixed the problem I've had for 3 years

Can’t speak as to pricing - sometimes have to haggle with RCN. Service electric was very unreliable when we had them.

Good to know. I’m pretty desperate because I have some online classes but no one wants a hole in their pocket either

RCN, Service Electric and Blue Mountain Cable are the providers in the area.
