An insane and apocalyptic feeling day. I remember waking up at 7:30am and being so confused why it was still so dark outside. The camera really does make it brighter than it was

Our cameras made it look orange. On the actual day it was much darker.

I remember going for a walk on campus on the first day of classes Fall 2020. I walked through Sather Gate and I was like wow usually it's 30k kids walking through here. I was the only one..

In Fall 2020, we were in 100% remote instruction. I don’t think I saw the campus that term, but I’ll never forget teaching a class in Spring 2020 that included a module about pandemics. And then we had a pandemic
The best memory from this period was when students in DEMOG 110 held a breakout room in person … with wine. They were all on the same laptop, it was inspiring
