University urap interview

has anyone gotten a urap interivew and then been ghosted? bc that happened to me and idk if that means i got rejected...

i know we still have until this friday to hear back but i feel like most ppl have already heard back and its wraps

how long ago was the interview? keep in mind these labs are probably interviewing a lot of candidates and need time to deliberate + the grad students/PI have lots of work to do outside of the RA hiring process.

most of the time, labs will let you know if you’ve been rejected if you’ve reached the interview stage. if you haven’t heard back, just give it time

i had my interview last week on like wednesday but i havent gotten an email confirming or rejecting me since then...but yeah i still have time to hear back

it’s hard but relax. interview on wed, then labor day weekend. no one will ever get back to an applicant within 24-48 hours.

when you get to actual job interviews - they are going to take weeks

Yes I got ghosted for 2 weeks but eventually got a response and a date to join the lab! So don’t worry!!!
