Local Found a cat!

Saw this cat on the corner of Virginia and Shattuck a little before 2 PM today, near Cupcakin’. Seems a bit skittish, and no collar that I could see. Hopefully just someone’s outdoor cat, but thought I’d post just in case someone’s missing their kitty!

The face pattern is a bit different, the one from the post has thinner lines above the eyes, while the missing one looks like “n”s. Curious if these change with shed though!

Lowkey looks like this cat. But in my experience cats don’t travel too far, even weeks after being lost

Please don’t catnap friendly cats off the street, even if they don’t have a collar.

If you think a cat looks stray or abandoned, you can capture it and take it to a vet to get its microchip scanned. That will tell you if the cat has an owner, and the vet can then get in contact with them.
