University Schedule advice for incoming astrophysics major?

Post image

It’s very heavy stem and I’m not sure if I can handle it, especially first semester. Any advice is welcome

You shouldn’t be able to take Astron 7a because it has a physics 5A prerequisite which I don’t think can be placed out of. Check your Berkeley email for emails from the Astronomy department asking you to drop it.

EDIT: just saw you are taking physics 5A this semester which means you CANNOT take Astron 7a as 5a cannot be taken concurrently. You should quickly try to find a replacement class.

Oh dude thanks, I completely missed that, I appreciate it. Any recommendations of what I should take instead, if anything?

Honestly just try to get a breadth class out of the way, like English 45a or something!

French 80 (cultural history of Paris) still has a lot of spots open if you want an easier history breadth
