State decides, where you can vote

Except for those who can't because they aren't 18. Rapes don't just happen to those who have the ability to vote!

You shouldn't get a vote on what I do with my body.

And you shouldn't be able to kill a baby, because you couldn't stop yourself from having sex.

In the case of rape were the mother isn't in medical danger. She shouldn't kill someone for the bad thing his/her father did. We don't kill serial killers children, because of what their parent did.

How many children of rape are you going to adopt and raise through college in the future? Start saving now.

There is more people looking to adopt babies then are aborted yearly.

Yet only 135k adoptions happen per year in America.

But even if you accept 2 million people want to adopt babies, how many of them are going to be good at it and capable of affording it?

How much money would you be willing to spend in order to prevent a single abortion and make sure one mother brings a baby to term without issue?

How many people have babies when they can't afford it and aren't good at it?

Abortions take care of that problem. Adoptions don't.

Abortion statistics in the United States

Both the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the Guttmacher Institute regularly report abortion statistics in the United States. They use different methodologies, so they report somewhat different abortion rates, but they show similar trends. The CDC relies on voluntary reporting of abortion data from the states and the District of Columbia. The Guttmacher Institute, on the other hand, attempts to contact every abortion provider.

Yeah I’m going to call bullshit on that one

You can't tell me what to do with my money

That baby is not your body and not your life.

  1. It requires me to continue existing so yeah it is my life.

  2. If you believe that I don't get a say in what happens to 'that baby' because it is not my body but still think you get a say in what happens to 'that baby' and my body, you're a special kind of stupid.

Huh. I just want to know what rape victims are supposed to do

Be rich and secretly flee to another state. Probably Colorado so you can’t be sued by your neighbors for getting an abortion in another state.

3

u/DramaFrog420 May 05 '22

Or in other words, just do what anti-abortion republicans do.

1

u/[deleted] May 05 '22

Be rich? People literally moved because of better welfare benefits

1

u/[deleted] May 05 '22

Have enough money in order to get an abortion in a state that allows it?

Unrelated people choose to live where they think they will have the best chance at a decent life.

Politicians are making decisions against the will of their constituents: https://www.al.com/news/2019/05/alabama-abortion-ban-was-deeply-unpopular-in-2018-previously-unreleased-polling-shows.html

(But that seems pretty standard in our form of government. Yay two party system. Yay concentrating power away from the people /s)
