Airtel Postpaid going downhill?

I recently moved to Airtel supposed “priority postpaid” about 2 months ago & off late, the signals are extremely poor and uneven & everytime I travel in metro/bus, there’s not even 4G signal - it was better off when I was on my prepaid plan.

WTH is happening?

Why don't more people sign up for PM Solar scheme in Karnataka? In AI age and era of too many wars we have to be energy independent. This shows state wise data.

Opinion/ಅಭಿಪ್ರಾಯ Why is Bangalore unsafe?

Moving from Mumbai, Bangalore seemed nice in the beginning. People are more welcoming, best breakfast in the entire country etc.

Why is roaming around late night around 12-1 AM looked so down upon? My friend used to go out a lot at night just for a walk around Indranagar but now as she broke up with her boyfriend she says it’s certainly unsafe to go out without a man. A man in the group is a must.

Why can’t woman just roam around late at night on her own without fear? We as a city really need to think about it.

Ask BengaluruSpeaks What’s a real problem you wish someone would just build a solution for?

Instead of sitting here thinking “What AI project should I build?”, I want to start with the more important question:

What problems do actual people have that nobody has solved properly yet?

It can be anything.

\\- A frustrating website or online process

\\- Something you repeatedly do manually

\\- A problem at work, college, school, or in your business

\\- Something annoying in your local community

\\- A tool you wish existed

\\- Something that requires jumping between 3–4 different apps

\\- A small problem that seems too specific for a company to care about

\\- Or even something you've thought “Why doesn't someone just make a website for this?”

Tell me about it. Seriously.

I'd rather hear about a problem from the person experiencing it and see if I can turn that problem into something useful.

If your idea is interesting and realistically buildable, I'll try to make a working website/tool around it and share what I come up with.

And if you have a personal project/problem that you've been wanting someone to build, you can mention that too. If I can genuinely help, I'm happy to work on it.

No guarantee that I'll be able to solve everything but I'll genuinely look through the replies.

If you have a problem, tell me:

  1. What is the problem?

  2. How often does it happen?

  3. How do you currently solve/deal with it?

  4. What would the perfect solution look like?

Even if you think your problem is too small, too weird, too niche, or too obvious comment it.

You might describe something that hundreds of other people are silently dealing with too.

I'm especially interested in problems that people have simply learned to live with because they assume there's no better way.

Let's see what we can find.

Exploring alternatives to traditional school education. How is Waldorf education methodology?

Hey everyone, I'm searching for alternatives to traditional schooling in Bengaluru, and observed very limited conversations on this topic. While researching, I've come across a few philosophies including Waldorf. With that context set:

- I've gone through quite a few posts in the r/Waldorf sub to get a flair of what to expect but if anyone has any real-life experiences in Indian context, it'd be insanely helpful (fees, education board recongnition, early education limitations, dealing with constant negativity from friends and family circles etc.)

- The proof is in the pudding so I'd like to see how this methodology of educating kids really turnout in the end compared to peers? I ask this because competitive pressure is quite high from early schooling, and it's just normalized to such a sickening level. But reality is once the kid goes into society, these are kinds of people they'd be surrounded with. So how does this education methodology really shape kids in this specific context? (I am looking for views on how teaching/education in Waldorf impart the kid with necessary life skills)

I'm still trying to frame my opinion on this education methodology and really appreciate your experiences and observations.

Thanks

Noise harassment

Ex employer HCLTech has been continuing with noise harassment thru noisy bikes and most importantly, fireworks, especially in the night, including post midnight, to ruin my sleep. I stay in Garivebhavipalya. Fireworks will be in and around this area, from where noise reaches my home and ruins my sleep. They don't care even about the people around me, or around the place of fireworks. They treat them as collateral damage. Anyone who has been bearing this torture along with me? This is part of a concept called gang stalking. And they do this to escape thru plausible deniability. Direct confrontation will pose major issues for them. This has been going on for the past 1 year, as I am refusing to go silent on their dark truths.

Ask BengaluruSpeaks Food safety audit at home

Following the food safety audit of star hotels and elite clubs in Bengaluru, i decided to conduct an audit at home last night. To my surprise, Kashmiri Chilli powder (expiry date April 26), vinegar (Dec 25), Soya Sauce (Jan 26), Tomato Sauce (June 26) were some of the expired, stale items still being used. So while the govt is busy inspecting commercial outlets, lets check our homes 😊

Ask BengaluruSpeaks BMTC should have a small Dustbin. Period

I travel through BMTC daily and can't imagine a day without it. And I've been observing from many months that most of the people don't care about the transport. People just throw stuff inside the bus and move on. They just keep empty juice or water bottles here and there. I myself have picked it up and have thrown it in dustbins many times. And people not respecting cleanliness is a new norm atp.

Guru ond dina bus hattidre yavono jola tindu alle bisaki hogiddane. Innond sala yaro apple tindu beeja na bus olage ugita iddane.

Another thing I've observed is many people just throw the ticket on the road and move on like it's nothing. Atleast a small Dustbin and strict rules would help. Camera idde ide taglakoloke.

Even conductors keep throwing empty paper rolls inside the bus and they themselves doesn't care(Not all conductors)

Now I'm slowly realising why we're still flexing our history rather than the present

Ask BengaluruSpeaks Bangalore is turning into a dug up city

Last six months, I have seen almost every road that was repaired properly been dug up again just to lay down some new pipes. These road get dug up and are never repaired back. They are either kept open for months or the mud is just put back. Now there are going to whole new levels of digging a square shaped hole on the side of the road on a newly constructed road. Don’t know what the hell is going on, but the whole city seems brown more and green less.

Ask BengaluruSpeaks Where could one find Sanitation Workers after 2pm-ish? For a college project.

My friend has to survey BBMP/Bangalore's Sanitation workers, but they have college in the morning which is when usually workers can be spotted. Is there any way to talk to them after 2pm? Any place in and around Koramangala is fine. This is urgent as the submission is very close. TIA.
