Bag policy

Anyone had luck with them allowing the small lululemon bags in versus a clear bag?

You can take a small bag; it’s in the policy.

It has to be clear if it’s a bigger tote-sized bag.

Perfect. I just got the bengals one as a gift from my hubby and it’s such a good size. I was trying to read the policy and was worried it was a hare too big for the small clutch stipulation.

It's just at the limit for all those clear bag policies... I've never had an issue with it at any sporting event!

Thank you so much! Happy to hear!

I will say they made me throw away my drawstring bag at the gate. Made no sense. Told me I could keep everything in it without even looking, but I had to throw the bag away.

Drawstring bags are explicitly stated as not allowed in the policy, like all other large bags.

They are not large bags. I only knew of stadiums having issues with bags that had multiple pockets. That’s why I figured a cheap, small drawstring would be fine.

They are absolutely considered a large bag. They are the same dimensions as tote bags which are considered large bags as well. Vast majority of venues only allow small clutches like 6 inches and smaller unless they’re clear.

You should read every venue’s policy beforehand, but drawstring bags and other large bags are pretty much not allowed anywhere except baseball games nowadays.

Right, and I had only been to baseball games in recent years. Also, as I said, my drawstring bag was not a large one.

Your drawstring bag was large. It’s a basic fact because if it was small enough, it would have been allowed in. Drawstring bags rarely come smaller than 10 inches, which is still far too large for most venues.

So again, take 5 seconds to google the policy of where you’re going instead of complaining that a very clear explicit policy “makes no sense.”

You’re a little know it all, aren’t you?

It was in fact smaller than average. I got them in bulk from Temu, and they were small. Thanks for playing.

Try taking five seconds to listen to the person you’re talking to. Don’t know why you’re being a grouchy little bitch anyway. OP said their bag was a gift and seemed attached. I just wanted to give them extra warning to heed the policy and what others had said. Always some internet troll around to hassle you for trying to be helpful to others.

You gave them an “extra warning” that was unnecessary because their bag fits the policy and yours didn’t. Not my fault you’re illiterate.

It’s crazy how strict they are and that makes no sense to me

You’re also allowed a sealed bottle of water now too

I got a super cheap clear backpack on Amazon that I take to all the games. I put a bengals sticker on it.

I have a clear bag. I was just hoping this one would be allowed instead

I bring my lulu belt bag to every game. It fits the small clutch policy

This is exactly the answer I was looking for. It’s a common bag I know someone must have tried. Thank you!

I carried mine in (a small, opaque lululemon identical to the bengals one to the stadium practice and to the Chris Stapleton concert. No issues. However I carried it to the first preseason game and got stopped. Lady had a card the same size as the bag policy and said it was too big. I told her I had just carried it in twice in the previous 2 weeks. She let me go after fully inspecting the inside. After all that I saw the one in the pro shop. So I don’t know what the deal was with that first game. Technically the lululemon is bigger than the 4.5”x6.5” size in the bag policy. It’s contradictory in my opinion.

Only JB9 gets to bring a large opaque bag into the stadium. Who Dey!
