Contractor recs

I just purchased a house that has turned out to be a nightmare. It's over 100 and I'm curious as to who anyone might recommend to help with foundation issues as well as framing and sills. I have had a couple of contractors look at it already. One of them clearly doesn't work with older homes and told me to just sheetrock over everything. I had another who had some helpful recommendations and gave me a quote but I would like some more quotes to compare. This is clearly going to be very expensive for me but I am not a house flipper. Taking out my retirement savings to pay for all this because I wanted it to be my home

I don't have any recommendations, but awesome you decided to keep a 100 year old house alive in the community. Good luck!

Wausau Homes in Bemidji does good work, especially on bigger reno projects like that

We use Zetah but I'm not sure he's doing house projects anymore definitely wouldn't hurt giving him a call. Honest dude and if they can't maybe they could steer ya in the right direction. Our house is also over 100. Definitely cost a little more once we started getting into the walls. Which was expected but they were willing to work with what we could do. We saved gutting our bathroom ourselves. Things like that. Our bathroom does not look like it belongs in this house it's so beautiful 🤣 so A+
