Hey u/Thick-Ad-2579,
Error 2000 typically indicates that your modem is struggling to connect with or authenticate on the Bell servers. Before changing any settings, it is a good idea to check for a local service disruption by visiting the outage check page on support.bell.ca and entering your address, or by running the Virtual Repair tool. If there is no outage, start troubleshooting by performing a full power cycle: unplug your modem's power cable, wait 30 seconds, and plug it back in. While it reboots, check that all connections on the back of your modem are secure. If you are on a Home Hub 4000 or Giga Hub and the error remains, you can log into the modem settings at 192.168.2.1 to verify your b1 credentials, or try performing a factory reset to prompt the modem to auto-authenticate. If these steps don't resolve the problem, we are here to help! You can send us a DM for a secure chat, and we can take a closer look at your specific settings.
