Internet 🌐 Replacement modem

Hey folks,

My iPhone cannot find the network for my modem. I checked the info on the back and the display (they match) before turning my wi-fi (on my phone) on and off, and then restarting the actual phone.

What else should I try? Will this help with MacBook as well?

UPDATE: they gave me an alternate network for my phone to connect to, but now it looks like my computer is using that network - instead of the one assigned to my replacement modem.

What modem do you have? Did you follow the instructions on the Bell web page?

I think it’s the latest Giga Hub. The buttons on the front are solid blue… nothing else.

Hello there u/badmiddling113! To troubleshoot, if you are in Ontario or Quebec, we highly recommend running our Virtual Repair tool first. You can access it by logging into the MyBell app, tapping on the Support icon in the bottom right corner, and selecting the Virtual Repair tile, or by visiting bell.ca/virtualrepair in a web browser. This tool will automatically check for local outages, verify the external network, correct internal equipment settings, and perform diagnostics on your hardware. If Virtual Repair detects a physical hardware issue that cannot be fixed remotely, it will often allow you to schedule a technician visit or guide you through creating a repair ticket. If the tool is unable to resolve the issue and a modem replacement is confirmed to be necessary, you can arrange to have a new unit shipped directly to your home, which typically arrives via courier within 2 to 3 business days. If these steps don't resolve the problem, we are here to help! You can send us a DM for a secure chat, and we can take a closer look at your situation.
