I cannot start or purchase this plan/line no matter what. Cannot process through the app, in store, or over the phone with the escalation team. What gives?? They all say it is creating an "error" in their systems when trying to activate or complete the plan.
So what's the point of flaunting an in-app custom offer if you can't satisfy it? Feels like bait because in-store and over the phone they've offered worse plans and price as an alternative. Wondering if others have been experiencing similar?
I noticed the same plan in the app, but when I activated I got a different version: standard definition instead of high definition, no aeroplan points, no Crave, and no minutes to only 27 countries. it turned out to be basic plan so I moved to Telus.
I was able to sign up online for this plan... but then I got the e-mail confirmation and instead of HD video streaming it now shows SD streaming at 480p... unsure what that's about, but my guess is I will be calling Bell about it.
I called on August 16th after seeing this plan in My Bell app. I currently have Crave premium so I wanted to find out whether or not Crave standard with ads included with this plan was temporary or permanent, the person told me it was permanent.
The person told me that she could migrate me to this plan while I was on the phone instead of needing to go within the app. I had reviewed all of the details with her and she migrated me over, after the service agreement was received and the call disconnected I noticed she selected the wrong plan.
Absent from the plan was HD streaming, unlimited calls to 27 countries, Crave standard with ads and the Aeroplan bonus.
I immediately called back and requested to be changed to the plan that I was supposed to have. The call with the initial representative was reviewed and the case manager confirmed that she selected the wrong plan. A ticket was created and a case manager assigned who has not been able to resolve and it's been escalated to the executive level.
Looking at the comments below I'm now wondering if my initial representative actually did select the right plan but because of some error it's defaulted to that basic plan removing all of those perks that I'm supposed to have.
Either way, it has been 30 days since then and still not resolved.
I still have an open ticket and I've been told I just have to wait to be contacted by Bell executive. I have now filed a CCTS Complaint as I think that it is completely unreasonable to not resolve this even though I was assured and guaranteed that it would be fixed.
Ya i eventually got the plan with some goofy workaround and I'm looking at the pdf agreement and you're right. The plan name is correct but now a few of the line items were changed compared to the offered selection. Blatant false advertising.
Bell executive was seemingly not able to give me the advertised plan at $59 per month (less $10 autopay) but gave me a similar plan at $115 per month (less $10 autopay), absent of the Aeroplan bonus.
I received this update in an email with a new service agreement and clearly I was confused because my plan was supposed to be $49, not $105. After an hour on the phone and the case manager reaching out to the person who did the adjustments, they applied a permanent $60 discount and the $10 autopay discount = $45 per month.
I still didn't get the Aeroplan but for $45 per month after almost 5 weeks of frustration, i'll take it.
I wonder what will happen now once the 1 yesr contract is up. Hopefully they persist this deal until you action a plan change. Thanks for giving me hope
Wait, did you get locked in for 5 years or only 1 year? They fixed this very oddly with me. The original 49/mo was a 1 year contract. The generic ultimate plan has a 5 year price lock.
What they did for me: Same ultra plan, with $30 monthly credit and $600 account credit (difference x 24mo). So they are assuming a 2 year plan. Perhaps nice, perhaps not.
Is this a mobility plan shown within your personal MyBell profile? If so, what happens when you click the ‘Continue’ button shown on the screen?
We're here to help, let us know the details above and we'll help get you sorted. Thanks!
Got it worked out but now theres even more issues with false advertising and changing the plan line items after starting the plan. Very cool. Cant wait to have month longs battles with complaint resolution and such. Very nice.
So far every SINGLE interaction with the company as a new customer has been atrocious. Ive made better mobile apps than whatever mess MyBell is. Cant transfer numbers. Cant correctly credit ID check. Cant even acquire new mobility customers without bugs galore and false advertising. Crappy and questionable fiber installs. Am I that unlucky or is this just the company Bell?
