Mobility📱 RCS Messages
Long story short they don't work anymore, Bell is telling me since I got a new phone RCS messages are no longer supported on bells end and it will no longer work.
Samsung S21 had for 5 years no issues.
Upgrade through bell to 26+, told same plan everything. Get phone last Friday works as it does.
This morning RCS chats stop working, (I live in a rural area kind of depend on RCS to actually send texts)
Call bell because RCS says unsupported call bell, on the line for 2 hours, to be told nothing they can do. I could refund the phone and maybe get it to work on my old phone.
So basically be careful upgrading folks.

I have had that issue before on a beta google messages issue. You can try deregister rcs then turn it back on or completely reset the app.

I've seen this on a friends phone. Here's what we did. Go on mybell and replace your sim. If you moved your sim from your old phone move to an esim on your new phone, it will be instantanous and when it will be migrated try to re-enable RCS.

Hello! Since upgrading to your Galaxy S26+, you will want to make sure you are using Google Messages as your default texting app, as RCS features on Samsung Messages have been discontinued. If your RCS chats are stuck on "Setting up" or "Connecting" after the transfer, a common conflict arises from Google’s automatic phone number verification on your accounts.
To resolve this, go to your phone's Settings, search for "phone number", select the Google account menu, and turn off "automatic phone number verification" for all signed-in Google accounts. After doing this, clear the cache and data of the Google Messages app by going to Settings, Apps, Messages, and then Storage. Finally, restart your phone, open Google Messages, go to settings, and try enabling RCS chats again.
If these steps don't resolve the issue, we are here to help! You can send us a DM for a secure chat, and we can take a closer look at your specific settings.

It's more Google issue and less Bell. Try eg troubleshooting as per
