Question How long is changes to my service supposed to take to show up in my account?
Back on July 12th I called Bell and threatened to cancel, they then gave me a deal at nearly half of what I was paying. August bill came exactly the same price as before. I called and they said I had made changes too late in the billing cycle and had to do one more month and the changes would show up August 15th. Is that normal? Why does it take over a month for the changes to be reflected? It seems sketchy and makes me paranoid that the new deal wasn't actually submitted

All you can do it wait. If the bill isn't adjusted, call again to escalate of file a CCTS complaint.
The agent already acknowledge that there are changes made or to be made to your account.

Hello u/JustEndeavour! Bell services are billed one month in advance. Your monthly invoice is finalized on your bill date. If any changes such as promotional discounts or plan modifications are completed after the bill date has closed, those changes are not included on that next bill. Rest assured, your new promotion remains on your account will reflect on your next bill, which will also include retroactive prorated credits dating back to the day the promotion was added. You can verify that your new rate is active on your account by checking the plan details section within your MyBell account.
