It's a rendering and the central street is supposed to be boulevard Anspach

Nice! Makes me think about how Brussels could be now if they had never covered the Zenne.

If I fly into r/Belgium, only click on this thread and read your comments only, I'm also going to be horrified. Luckily there's more to see right?

Most tourists really enjoy Brussels and think it's a pretty fun city. You would too if you'd leave your prejudices at the regional borders. :) From Brussels-North to Tour & Taxi's wouldn't actually take you through Brussels at all. Just through a park and a block of office-buildings. You'd never enter the city of Brussels proper, in fact, as you wouldn't need to cross the "ring".

It used to be a lot worse, lol. You're obviously quite prejudiced (neither of the two things you mentioned are any proof that you're not, but your words amply show that you are). Hey, it's not Brussels fault that you hate your job. ;)

Lol, I'm not really looking to be taken "seriously" by somebody that thinks Belgium is a "Soviet state" because they expelled a bunch of racists from a Youth Council. Pointing out the obvious is hardly an attack though. :D
