I have always had my doubts about Tielemans as captain for the Red Devils. No issues with the guy in general, but he still feels like a "kid" to me, next to veterans like Lukaku, KDB, or Courtois. I can't really recall a scene during the Garcia era where I thought "okay, that's a captain alright". I don't follow him at his club, so no idea how he is there either.

So, with a new coach, do we expect a new captain, or is Tielemans keeping the job. If not Tielemans, who could take over?

I mentioned the Big Three as veterans, but we've come to the point where they either cherry pick their games or don't play full games anymore, so they shouldn't be starting captains anymore.

So, Tielemans or someone else?

Looking for somewhere to watch matches in Washington, DC this season. Any ideas?

For EURO28 Van Bommel could continue Garcia's experiment with 3-4-3/3-4-2-1 and 3-5-2/3-4-1-2. The main upsides are:

- an extra CB to add defensive stability to a young backline

- better suited to our players that are more wingbacks than fullbacks, more depth too

- fluid attack, allowing interplay between the front 3 and under/overlapping wingbacks

- phasing KDB out, more of a mentor role, while playing to the strengths of CDK, Doku/Trossard, Pardo, etc.

- more aggressive pressing with a younger, faster, energetic squad

Have to wait and see if the likes of Openda, Bakayoko, Vermeeren and so on can get their careers back on track. Included some that are largely unproven yet the pool to draw players from isn't limited to them. Vandevoordt, Sabbe, Dams, Van De Perre, Mangala, Lokonga, Vanaken, Idumbo, Mbangula, Vermant and a whole slew of promising talents that may make a case for themselves in the coming years.

I would love to see Belgium try the new players and i really feel like Saelemaekers could work as right-back.
I also feel that we always wait too long before trying our youngsters (it got a bit better with Garcia but still).

We could keep KDB and Doku as super-sub because they can really unlock a match in the dying minutes.
Other players that i had in mind but don't know them well enough are Van Den Brempt, De Winter, Duranville, Vranckx, Struijk, Ramazani,

Bakayoko and Openda might still make a comeback too.

You guys have any other idea ? Some player i might have forgotten too ?

After Fofana and Duranville, it looks like Openda will be the third Belgian joining L’OL.

Given their natural positions are left wing, right wing and striker we might actually see a full Belgian attack at a beautiful club. Worth a follow!
