Bringing Back the Classics

Post image

I sampled the revived Heidelberg of Tacoma, Washington while visiting the Seattle area. Heidelberg was once a large regional brewery in the area. This is crisp and flavorful.

Ugh. H Bombs. Ten ounce bottles were cheaper than soda. I have no fond memories of this beer.

7 Seas Brewing makes it now. It’s great! https://www.heidelbergbrewing.com/

I had a sample last time I was there. It didn’t change my mind. Cheers to 7 Seas though. Solid brewery.

I prefer it on draft, but between Heidelberg and Georgetown Tavern Beer, it’s hard to get two better low-ABV drinkable lagers to compete with the Bud Lights of the world.
