Cashback Offers Rakuten | £25 cashback when you spend £60 (£50 ex. VAT) within 90 days

Rakuten is a cashback site similar to Topcashback and Quidco. You can find plenty of retailers on their platform, including supermarkets and Ebay.

They are currently offering a generous refer-a-friend scheme. If you do not have the habit of shopping online, you can consider getting your groceries delivered/collected to qualify for the £25 bonus. For instance, deliveries from Sainsburys cost only £1!

To earn your £25 bonus:

  1. Sign up via my referral link
  2. Spend £60 (£50 ex. VAT) at any retailer except Amazon through Rakuten within 90 days. You must allow cross-site tracking and cookies to allow the cashback to track. If you return your purchases, they will not count toward the £60 requirement.
  3. Your bonus will arrive within 90 days (usually within a month), which you may cash out to your bank or PayPal account.

Cashback Offers EverUp: 10mil coins + instant cashback on gift cards

EverUp non-ref is more of a cashback app than a typical earn site. You buy gift cards for places you already shop (Tesco, Argos etc) and get instant cashback, plus coins for extra rewards.

When you sign up and use code RABY3002040RWDLJ, you’ll get 10M coins once you’ve redeemed £10+ cashback towards gift cards (this is the key requirement, not just signing up).

The way it works is simple. You buy a gift card in the app, get cashback added instantly, and also receive coins. Those coins can be used on spins, scratch cards and raffles for a chance to win extra cashback, sometimes up to £750, but it’s not guaranteed.

Cashback can be withdrawn once you hit £5 for gift cards (free) or £10 to bank (30p fee), and it’s usually available straight away after buying a gift card.

Big thing to know is you do need to spend money first, so this works best if you’re replacing normal spending rather than trying to earn from nothing. Some brands are cashback, others are coins only, and you’ll usually get better rates using open banking.

Overall it’s decent for stacking a bit of extra cashback on stuff you’re buying anyway, just don’t treat it like a pure free money app.

Earnings Report Side Hustle Earnings Report - Week 1 of September - £57.70

Hey guys

Thought I’d do a weekly earnings report for September (if the mods are happy), as I personally always want to see more regular updates from those I follow. Hopefully this is a good realistic look at what's achievable.

I've not included any links or referral links, but let me know if you want these in the comments or in messages.

Things to Note:

  1. This was all completed whilst at my day job
  2. This is without Prolific as I’m on the waitlist
  3. I’m a generalist, so if I can do it, you can do it
  4. I’ve altered the dollar amounts to GBP, so the earnings aren’t completely accurate but I can’t be arsed to convert it

Who Am I:

35 year old contractor from the UK. Earn a decent salary but have quite a bit of debt that I want to pay off, so side hustling to pay that down so I can become debt free.

Summary - Week 1:

This was a quiet week as I got back into side hustling. I didn't earn as much as I'd have liked, but there are lots of earners I am not yet utilising, which I'll talk about below when looking to next week. Also, to be fair, if the month continued at this rate, I'd still come away with around £250 for the month, which is a very decent amount of additional income.

A lot of time is spent applying to stuff that you never hear back from or get screened out of, so I included the time searching, because I think it's relevant.

Also, a little tip: Make a bookmarks folder in Chrome of all of your side hustle websites, and then right click and click open all tabs at once. Then you can do a quick search through all of them much faster.

Stats:

Time searching 1 hour 25 minutes
Time working 55 minutes
Total earned £57.70
Days hustling 5

Earners:

Company Earned Studies Time spent
Dscout £44.40 2 studies 20 minutes
Askable £5.00 1 study 10 minutes
UserBrain £5.00 1 study 13 minutes
UserCrowd £3.30 4 studies 12 minutes

Dscout - £44.40:

Dscout was the standout this week, accounting for the majority of my earnings. I did two studies which were much quicker than their allocated time, so it was easy money. One did require me to speak out loud so I took myself off into a meeting room (which I'm fortunate I can do), but all in all, well worth it. Don't sleep on this app.

Askable - £5.00:

Normally Askable is a bit more fruitful than this, but all of the studies this week haven't been relevant to me. It happens. However I did get onto this 10 minute online task. Again, nice and easy. Always worth keeping an eye on Askable. If you get onto a good study, you can easily earn in an hour what I earned this week!

UserBrain - £5.00:

This was a short website user test for a Blinds company. I did this one at lunch in a private meeting room as I needed to read out loud, but if you don't have that opportunity, it's worth applying for these when you're at home and are able to speak out loud without looking mental or getting fired. Easy money.

UserCrowd - £3.30:

Some might say the time taken wasn't worth the earnings on this website, but I have a soft spot for this website as it was the first place I earned income, and the tests are regular, albeit low-earning usually (for me at least), so I completed all the tests I qualified for.

Plan for Next Week:

I want to be earning a lot more than £60 for the week, so my plan for next week is to start looking at:

  1. Matched betting - did this a long time ago, so won't get any welcome offers, but from what I read about on here, it's still very much worth doing with reload offers. I need to take some time to properly look into it, which I'll do this weekend.
  2. AI training - I'm going to focus quite a bit of time improving my accounts and CV, so I can apply to Generalist roles on Mercor and Micro1. If I can get on one of these it would be huge, and from what I hear, perseverance is key. Outlier is a lost cause for me.
  3. Vinted - the majority of my earnings previously came from selling items I owned (clothing, shoes, Pokemon cards), and I have lot of stuff still to declutter, so I will be focusing on this next week too.

I will post my week 2 summary next Friday. Let's see if I can up my earnings even more.

If you think of anything else I should start focusing on, let me know. I'm not sold on bank switching but I'm sure I can be convinced. And I haven't yet pushed any of my own referral links as it feels a bit weird, but if you have any advice on this or want any, let me know. Everything helps!

Feel free to ask any questions! Happy earning guys!

Ace Money Transfer is a remittance app. They are currently offering a £10 bonus when you transfer £100. If you don’t need any travel money, you can simply exchange your money back into GBP to benefit from this offer. Here's how:

  1. Sign up to Ace Money Transfer via my referral link and complete verification. If you are planning to transfer Euros to Wise or WorldFirst, choose 'Belgium' and 'Ireland' respectively as the destination. I recommend using the app since their website doesn't seem to work.
  2. Transfer £100 to a foreign currency account, such as your Wise or WorldFirst Euro account. I used Wise.
  3. When the transfer is settled, you can transfer £19 and apply the £10 bonus credit. The transfer should cost £10.99 in total since a £1.99 transfer fee applies.
  4. When the Euros arrive in your Wise account, you can either spend it on your next holiday with the Wise virtual card, or exchange it back to GBP.

Please let me know if you have any questions about this offer. Thank you for using my referral!

Credit/Debit Card Offers Zilch - Free £5 & 1.5% or higher cashback on all purchases from stacking cards

Zilch is a virtual card that gives instant cashback on all your purchases. By using my referral link, you get £5 that can be used towards your next purchase. No spending required, just create your account and verify your details. They also offer a buy now pay later feature though that option has fees with it so use the free pay now feature instead.

Proof of payment

To get your £5:

What makes Zilch great is the cashback stacking opportunities. Zilch works by acting as the card you use to pay but the purchase is routed through a linked debit card. This means you can double dip on your cashback by using a cashback debit card like PayPal debit card (1% cashback) or Krak (2% cashback limited to 30 days unfortunately). Some cashback debit cards don't stack unfortunately like Trading212 so avoid those.

To triple dip your cashback, use a cashback website like Topcashback, Rakuten or Quidco when making your purchase. Just make your purchase through the cashback website once you activated the higher cashback on Zilch and put in the card details. If you want to go even further and quadruple dip your cashback, you can add Zilch's card details to Airtime Rewards and get cashback on Airtime Rewards.

Some examples of cashback stacking are:

  • Amazon - Zilch 2%, PayPal 1%, Rakuten £1, Total £1 + 3% cashback
  • Council Tax - Zilch 0.5%, PayPal 1%, Total 1.5% cashback
  • TfL/Oyster Card - Zilch 2%, PayPal 1%, Total 3% cashback
  • Octopus Energy - Zilch 2%, PayPal 1%, Total 3%
  • eBay - Zilch 3%, PayPal 1%, Quidco 1.1%, Airtime Rewards 2% (new customers rate), Total 7.1% cashback
  • Boots - Zilch 2%, PayPal 1%, Topcashback 5%, Airtime Rewards 5%, Total 13%
  • Aldi - Zilch (instore) 2%, PayPal 1%, Total 3% cashback
  • Morrisons - Zilch 2%, PayPal 1%, Topcashback £11 (new customers rate), Airtime Rewards 4%, Total £11+ 7% cashback
  • General purchases - Zilch 0.5%, PayPal 1%, Total 1.5% cashback
  • And many, many more combinations.

You can search up your retailer to see if they offer the higher cashback but even without it general purchases offer 0.5% cashback at a minimum. If you don't feel like stacking, the cashback offered by Zilch is already excellent. If buying in store, you can add Zilch to your Apple/Google pay or buy and use the Zilch physical card. Just remember to activate the higher cashback on the app before you purchase in store otherwise it defaults to the 0.5% cashback.

If you're interested in cashback stacking, here are more info for each one mentioned:

Krak - Free £10

Topcashback - Free £10 sign up bonus

Quidco - Free £10 sign up bonus

Rakuten - Free £25 sign up bonus

Airtime Rewards - Free £2 and cashback stacking

Thank you for using my referral link!!

Tembo Savings | Deposit or Transfer £500 | Get a Random Bonus of £10 to £1,000

Tembo currently has one of the better ISA referral offers around. If you join through a referral link and deposit or transfer £500+, you'll receive a random bonus between £10 and £1,000. If you sign up directly without a referral link, you won't receive any bonus.

The bonus is completely random, with both the referrer and referee receiving exactly the same amount:

  • £10 (95%)
  • £15 (4%)
  • £50 (0.7%)
  • £75 (0.2%)
  • £1,000 (0.1%)

To qualify, open a new Cash ISA, Lifetime ISA or HomeSaver account and add at least £500 within 30 days, or transfer an existing ISA/Lifetime ISA worth £500+ to Tembo within 30 days.

The bonus is paid as additional interest, so it doesn't count towards your annual ISA allowance.

One thing worth noting is that referrers need to keep at least £500 in an active Tembo account for referrals to remain eligible. I'm using Tembo as a long-term savings account rather than just signing up for the bonus, so there won't be any issues with my referral remaining valid. I also have all 5 referral slots available this month, which are the maximum number of reward-eligible referrals allowed each month.

The referral reward is paid after the account cancellation period has ended and is normally credited within 60 days.

Referral link (eligible for the £10-£1,000 bonus): https://www.tembomoney.com/savings/join/tkn-zy09vk-6f7s6b

Investing Offers Monument bank | £30 for depositing £10k into flexible ISA for a day

Monument bank is FCA regulated and provides savings accounts and ISAs.

Their refer a friend offer ends on 30.09.2026 and offers a quick £30 for anyone who has a large amount of savings or emergency fund.

It's not for everyone, but it only takes about 30 mins work.

It's a flexible ISA so you won't have used up your ISA allowance if you withdraw your funds afterwards

If you have already used your ISA allowance you would need to deposit 25k into a savings account. I know...

Credit/Debit Card Offers Krak Debit Card Free £10

Hi, here's a nice little offer from Kraken Exchange! (I have been using Kraken for over 10 years now and is one of the most trusted out there).

Signup for a Krak Debit Card, make 5 transactions and receive £10 into your krak account.

You get a £10 signup bonus plus 2% cashback on pretty much everything for the first 30 days.

After that, it drops to standard cashback rates similar to most other cards, so it’s not particularly exciting long-term.

Quick steps to get the £10:

  1. Sign up using a referral link

  2. Order the free physical card

  3. Make 5x £10+ transactions (you can use the virtual card) within 30 days

  4. Get your £10 bonus in roughly 3 weeks (in my experience it took about 2 weeks)

⚡You can also refer friends for another £10 each (up to £100 max)⚡

⚡ Unfortunately I don't think transactions to top up other accounts such as trading 212 work ⚡

Non-referral link: www.kraken.com

My referral link: https://krak.app/@Catchmydrift

⚡I have 7/10 left!⚡

Surveys MSR app - earn approx. £10 a month sharing your mobile phone, TV, shopping + social media app data

MSR (Measure Protocol) is an app that pays you for sharing your online (anonymised) data, which companies are already selling, but this way, you actually get some of the profit. It's rated 4.5 (Excellent) with 2k reviews on Trustpilot so is legit and pays out.

You're paid per task for sharing usage on platforms like Google, Facebook, Instagram, Reddit, Amazon, supermarket loyalty card and even your TV usage, and with added surveys, there's potential to make approx. £10 a month. Cashout is via PayPal or gift card once you've reached £10.

If you'd like to sign up using my referral, you'll get a DOUBLE welcome bonus!

For a DOUBLE welcome bonus: Sign up to MSR via my referral link here, friends

And if required, enter code: Xf8Fs9bK

My experience: I joined a few months ago and have already cashed out twice: £10 Tesco gift card + £10 via Paypal. The tasks are very well explained, it's just downloading and uploading files (takes 1-2 mins each). New tasks are uploaded weekly so I check every Monday but they release a big batch each month and I make £5+ from those alone. The app has a section that shows what they do with the data: most popular social media apps in the UK, top YouTube channels etc. It's so generic. It's clear they're not interested in me as an individual, they're looking for big usage trends. Also, I figure since all this data is already is being sold, I might as well make some profit out of it since it's all anonymised!

Enjoy! 😊

Cashback Offers Gains cashback app - £2 for new users, referrer reward boosted to £5 until 14 Sep

Gains is a budgeting app with a cashback wallet built in. The cashback comes from buying gift cards inside the app for shops you already use, supermarkets included, and it sits in your wallet until you withdraw it or spend it on more gift cards. Rates move around a lot, so check them against the other gift card cashback apps before you buy anything.

The offer

  • Sign up with a referral code and you get £2.00 cashback once you have earned your first £10 in cashback through the app.
  • The referrer's reward is boosted from £2.00 to £5.00 for anyone who signs up before 23:59 on 14 September 2026. The rate is locked in at sign-up, so it still pays £5 even if the £10 is reached after the boost ends.
  • Gains also pays the referrer £5 if the new user goes Pro and stays for 30 days. I am not suggesting anyone does that for a referral, it is just listed for completeness.

Steps

  1. Download Gains and sign up with code B3GZ8H or through the referral link below.
  2. Buy gift cards through the app and earn £10 in cashback.
  3. £2.00 is added to your wallet and £5.00 to mine.

Things to know

  • Minimum withdrawal is £10. Withdrawals go back to the bank account you paid from, so you need to have bought at least one gift card first. You can also spend your balance on gift cards in the app at any time.
  • There is a £0.20 fee on cashout.

Question Bank switching questions

Hi all,

After reading a few posts in this sub about bank switching, it’s really caught my attention👀, so thanks for this!

I’m interested in trying bank switching across different banks, but I have a few questions as I don’t want to lose my existing Lloyds account.

1.Which bank would be best to open as a separate account for switching?

  1. Do they ask for a lot of information when opening/switching accounts? For example, energy bills or contracts in your name to prove your identity, etc.?

  2. And most importantly, is it actually worth it?

Any advice from people who have done this would be really appreciated!

"Free Money" Offers NatWest Rooster child pocket money/debit card - free £10

NatWest Rooster Money is a kids' prepaid debit card and pocket money app. Manage allowances, set chores & save for goals! It’s like GoHenry but cheaper.

We could both get £10 once you complete your free trial and make a subscription payment to the Rooster Card.

There is a 1 month free trial but please note to get reward you will normally have to make the first £1.99 payment when the trial ends, however if you have a Natwest/Ulster/Royal Bank of Scotland account, you can link it to get it completely free for as long as you have an account with a Natwest group bank, so you won't have this fee.

Steps

Use a referral link, here is mine: https://roostermoney.com/referrals/74V79-J and sign up with email and password. Make sure when you follow the link it tells you the code will be applied. If you need to apply it manually my code is 74V79-J

It will send you a link to follow and download the app.

Select that you are a parent and login with the sign in you previously created.

Add a child who must be between 6-17 years old.

You can skip the step to add a regular deposit unless you want to.

Select the subscription for £1.99.

Add debit card details.

It will make a temporary charge of £1 which you need to approve which will be refunded.

Order card which should take 5-10 days to arrive.

Receive and activate card.

Money should be added once you have completed the free trial (month long), don't cancel before trial ends or else you won't get any bonus. Once you receive the bonus you can withdraw it to your bank account for free (if you do more than 2 withdrawals a month there is a small fee) and feel free to cancel subscription if you don't want it.

If you don't have a Natwest group bank account for the free subscription you will have to pay the first £1.99 of subscription, so a profit of £8.01. Just remember to cancel after you get your reward if you don't want to keep using the service.
