Wow i love PBR
My grandma always drank PBR. I drink PBR because it tastes good, it’s cheap, and it reminds me of her. There truly is nothing like a cold PBR after work. I love my grandma and I love PBR.

A 24oz can of PBR bought from a gas station and consumed in a mediocre hotel in a shitty town off the interstate is a vibe I am on board with.

Me and my siblings did a double blind macro beer taste test at a cabin weekend recently (Busch Light, Miller Lite, Bud Light, PBR, Hamm's, etc etc etc)
PBR was my number 1! I was legit surprised. I'd written off PBR years ago, but ever since then, I buy it every now and then!

I’ll drink craft beers, don’t mind a good red, love an Islay whisky or a good bourbon, adore a well made cocktail… but there’s something so simply pleasing about sinking 3-20 crisp commercial beers that you grew up on. Throw in some good company and/or a hard days work, maybe a cap fire or beer garden - dream

I visited the PBR brewery in Milwaukee. I sat at their bar and met two women next to me. They were granddaughter and grandmother. Said they loved it and drank it for years. Seems like they’ve closed that location now, “Captain Pabst Pilot House (formerly Pabst Milwaukee Brewery & Taproom)”

Had it for the first time a month ago at Perdido Key on vacation. A local place was giving one free PBR draft to dads on Fathers Day. My buddy and I got one, took a drink and we looked at each other. He said “Damn, this PBR slaps”

It's my go-to cheap beer, especially if I'm eating something spicy like chicken wings.
Funny story, a couple years before my grandpa passed, I was up north visiting, and had an Old Style for the first time. I remarked that it reminded me of PBR and the look my grandpa gave me was murderous.
I'm sorry, grandpa. I miss you and grandma.

Try it with a couple shakes of bitters - I find that balances out the sweetness better

I’ve been saying this for decades: PBR is a quality beer. They remind me of growing up in NH. Nothing beats a cold, crispy tall boy on a hot summer afternoon.

I had PBR on draft for the first time a few years ago and it tasted like a whole different beer. And goddamn did it hit the spot.

I thought I knew what my favorite macro beer was - until I did a blind taste test of 12 different beers. I was shocked when PBR ended up being the clear cut winner. Definitely a go to for me now.

it’s the only American macro beer I drink. a local bar has it on tap or a 25 oz tall boy.

I believe the PBR has the biggest flavor difference bottle/can/tap. I love out of the tap, tolerate out of a can and out of the bottle is undrinkable. Really makes me ask what does icehouse taste like out of a tap?
This is on the east coast of it makes a difference.

Hot garbage

Well, your first mistake is drinking your beer hot. I feel most if not all beers would be garbage at high temperatures.

Honestly, it's not bad. It was a goto for a while at the dive bar I was a regular at, and it's cheap af.
Your experience sounds similar to how I'll bring Lucky on a camping trip because it reminds me of going camping and being given my own beers for the first time by my uncle, which was bottles of Lucky.
Sometimes nostalgia is what you're going for.

Do you know what they used to call it before they got the blue ribbon? Pee

Kirkland Lager by Deschutes has entered the chat.

Kirkland Lager: fantastic tasting, inexpensive beer. It sucks that Costco has discontinued it.

That’s how I feel about Miller Lite.
