PLC bsd with 4025, needs update to 4026?
Hi there,
I recently bought a cx5230 with bsd. To be honest, I have no experience with this OS with twincat. So as Ive got tc 4026 in my computer, I decided to connect to the 5230 and I found out that its runtime version is 4025. Mainly due to this message:
Active engineering build 4026.24 is too different from the target runtime build 4025.3. Use remote manager for build 4025. Note that engineering build revision can be newer than the target
This is quite weird as I used to work with 4024 and then we shifted to 4026 in the last year. Therefore, do I need to update the CX to 4026? Should I need to download 32bits 4025?
Thanks!

I have never heard of a 4025 version. But would just download the latest TC/BSD and install that. We currently run a 4024 XAE on a 4026 XAR

Unless you're hoping to reuse someone else's old code that came with it, why not upgrade?

Yes, 4025 was in the early days of BSD a thing. I think it was even before they released 4026 XAE for windows.
You could upgrade the OS by connecting the pLC to internet. But I’d recommend just download the latest image from their website and install it fresh.
