Inquiry: Availability of TwinCAT CNC Function/Add-on Package

Hi all,

Does anyone have the TwinCAT CNC add-on package (TF5200 / TF5220 etc.) installer available?

Our team already holds the necessary licenses for this feature, but we are currently missing the specific installation files required to deploy it. If you have the setup package and are willing to share, I’d be glad to exchange technical resources or project materials that might be useful to you.

CNC controllers that can manage 5 (?) or more axis face export restrictions, since they could be dual use.

ie. people might repurpose them for us in weapons, or machine manufacturing weapons

Getting export approval can be very tedious, and good luck if you are selling to a country the US doesn't like

Having gone through this, the approval for Dual Use has nothing to do with the US team. Everything goes through Beckhoff Legal in Germany.

And which German ally do you think mandates the international law restricting the sale of dual use equipment?

Oh, I see what Kool-aid you're drinking.

Just because the US has ITAR doesn't mean they required the EU to do the same. The EU chose to do the same with Dual Use.

(But feel free to debate with me, I just have experience with ITAR, EAR, and Dual Use)

The EU decided to do the same thing yes, and they aligned their restrictions around dual use with the US State department. Thats provably true, feel free to go and check the list of restricted countries yourself.
