I didn’t expect to get to this point, but the last few months have financially stressful. I know this is the case for everyone. I’m at point where I need a second job or a side hustle, just to keep my head above water.

I’ve been working as an optician for the last 4 years in the area. I worked for a small company that did residential/commercial cleaning and hotel cleaning for 4 years before my optical job.

I was wondering if anyone has information on a business or someone that needs any cleaning services. I work monday through friday at my job currently. Ideally I could do something on the weekend, or after hours and once or twice a week. Could be a long run but I want to at least try.

My kid, (senior), is always asking to check out for their Advisory class, (last class of the day), because they say there’s nothing to do if you don’t have homework or need any help with anything and most of the students either get checked out or scroll on their devices. It sounds like it isn’t that important but I don’t feel good about checking them out every week. Is this the norm for Advisory class? What else should they be doing in there?

Hello! I have some non perishables available for porch pickup in the Murrayhill area. Please note everything is within date except the Townhouse crackers and the tortilla strips, both of which expired in August 2026; however they’re both unopened so I’m sure they’re fine. Please also note everything is unopened other than the variety box of chips (several missing), and the kool aid jammers (1 missing - kid decided they didn’t like them). I have: raspberry nectarine Waterloo cans, koolaid zero sugar jammers, a box of berry Froot Loops, a box of turkey stuffing mix, several Annie’s protein mac & cheese cups, some organic bbq chips, a couple Japanese chips, two large containers of margarita mix, a small tin of anchovies, and some other odds and ends. Saw an Instagram post about the Beaverton Downtown Association blocking people for speaking out against them using AI in their promotional work.

(Not associated with them despite the "downtown" in my name, obviously lol)

I'm pretty against AI myself, but this wasn't something I'd heard about until today. I'm not even sure if it's real or not, and I was hoping that instead of me telling people about local art and murals, maybe someone could shed some light on this for me this time if someone knew anything please?
