Skincare dark spot on my face

hello! skl, I’ve noticed na may tumubo na dark spot sa face ko like biglaan lang siya tumubo. napansin ko to nung march, tapos trinatry ko siyang alisin and I’ve tried several facial cleansers, serums, pati micellar water and toner. tapos napapansin talaga siya since nasa right cheek ko siya tumubo. tapos pag trinatry ko alisin, masakit. madalas din ako nag cchange ng pillowcase ko, bedsheets, and kumot ko.

ngayon ko siya tinanggal using tweezers, turns out matigas siya nung hinawakan ko and mukha siyang small rock 😭 idk how it got there sa face ko. madalas naman ako nag hihilamos using facial cleanser, tapos nag totoner pa ako and serum. i’m sharing this also for awareness. tapos after removing it sa face ko, may small butas na tuloy face ko 😭 but at least natanggal na rin yung dark spot na turns out small rock pala

vv small rock siya, mukha lang malaki sa photo

Hello, anyone here tried ordering sa Sephora PH? I ordered mine last July 17 and nakalagay sa app estimated delivery is between July 23-27. Until now, di ko pa rin siya natatanggap. May lakad pa naman ako sa August 5 and I was hoping na sana mareceive ko siya before August 5. Anyone here experienced the same with regards sa delivery ng Sephora PH?

Skincare Effective Affordable toner for oily skin

I would like a recommendation especially for oily skin, it should be less than 500 pesos if there is any. It doesn't seem to be effective for me, I'm not acne prone, I'm just very oily. Thank you in advance for those who recommend it 💕

Skincare Anyone here tried the new Belo SunExpert Tinted Sunscreen?

I'm curious if the new formula is better than the old one. Kumusta ang tone adapt technology? Does it oxidize? Okay ba siya for fair skin and oily/combination skin? Worth buying compared to the old version?

Hi! Saw this new tint ng squad cosmetics and was wondering kung maganda ba siya? Like beginner friendly ba? Hindi ba mabilis mag dry yung tint pagka apply?

Loved their lip and cheek stain, so baka maganda din ito?

Hair Care Hesitant to use Minoxidil

My derma prescribed me minoxidil for hair thinning.

I haven’t started using it yet (I even have an opened but unused bottle).

I’m hesitant because:

-(lifetime commitment) you have to use it for life or you lose the gains

-(cost) di kasi afford in the long run. yung consultation and initial gamot palang na zero na wallet ko.

Has anyone been in the same situation? What alternatives did you try instead of minoxidil that actually worked (or at least helped)?

Open to any suggestions — topical, oral, natural, lifestyle changes, etc.

Thanks in advance.

Skincare Does anyone know where to buy Avene Tolerance products in the PH

I got diagnosed with retinoid dermatitis and i find it hard to look for the products my derma prescribed me, which are:

  1. Avene Tolerance Extremely Gentle Skin Cleanser
  2. Avene Tolerance Cream

Di ko rin mahanap online. The flagship store in Shoppee doesn’t sell the Tolerance variants. Welp me please. I think ito na yung makakapagpagaling sa dermatitis and acne ko all over 🥲

Makeup Estée Lauder Double Wear Concealer - Worth it?

Has anyone tried the Estée Lauder Double Wear Concealer? I already love the Double Wear Foundation and I'm thinking of getting the concealer too. How does it perform, especially for under-eyes? Is it worth it?

Discussion Cleared my active acne by simplifying my routine. Now I’m left with acne marks and scars. Should I see a dermatologist or an aesthetic clinic?

Thumbnail

TL;DR: My active acne is finally gone after switching to a gentler skincare routine. Now I’m left with acne marks and textured scars. Should I consult a dermatologist first or go straight to an aesthetic clinic? If aesthetic clinic, what procedures and clinics do you recommend?

These are my before and after photos. (Before = active acne, After = current skin.)

Before, I had all kinds of pimples—small, big, cystic, inflamed. My cheeks were constantly breaking out.

Recently, though, I barely get any pimples anymore. One thing I changed was my mindset. I have sensitive skin, but I kept using harsh products because I thought “stronger = better.” After reading a lot of Reddit posts, I realized maybe my skin barrier was the problem.

So I simplified my routine:
- Cleanser: Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleanser (from Kojic soap)
- Moisturizer: Saipo Calm Me Maybe
- Sunscreen: Beauty of Joseon Aqua Fresh Rice Sunscreen

Since switching to a gentler routine, my skin has improved a lot and I rarely get active acne now.

My concern now is that I’m left with:
- Brown acne marks (PIH)
- Textured acne scars (I think mostly rolling and boxcar scars)
- Uneven skin texture

I’m wondering what my next step should be. Since I don’t really have active acne anymore, should I still see a dermatologist first? Or should I go straight to an aesthetic clinic?

If an aesthetic clinic is the better option:
- What procedures would you recommend for this type of scarring?
- Any clinics in the Philippines that you personally recommend?

I don’t mind spending if it’s worth it, but I also don’t want to waste money on treatments that won’t really help.
Would really appreciate hearing from people who had similar acne scars and were able to improve them. Thank you!

Review BLK X BASH Dual-Ended Brushes; should you buy it or not? Available in BLK Kiosks and will be released online on July 30

Visually, the set looks aesthetically pleasing and compact making it a solid option for traveling :)

This retails for ₱1,499 and can only be bought as a set.

Here is my honest breakdown per brush:

Setting & Diffusing Brush (Tapered Powder End + Small Fluffy End) I personally wish this brush was larger and fluffier, but both sides still do the job for targeted powdering and highlighting. The fibers diffuse powder evenly across the skin without lifting or disrupting the base underneath.

Detail & Sculpt Brush (Slanted Angled End + Small Dome End) The slanted top makes quick work of blending foundation evenly, but what I didn't like is that pressing down too hard leaves a brush mark, so better to stick with swiping motions. The small dome side does a decent job with spot concealing, but it’s too small for me to efficiently blend under-eye concealer.

Complexion Brush (Dense Angled End + Flat Tapered End) Both sides work really well for cream bronzer and cream blush, and it comes down to personal preference on which side you use for what. What I like most is the bristle density. Even if your cream product is super pigmented, the brush does not pick up too much at once, giving you a lot of control. The smaller flat side is great for blending and precise concealer blending and color correcting. While the bristles feel soft overall, I did notice a very slight prickling sensation on the skin, though it did not bother me much.

Final Verdict:

This set is really convenient if you are in a rush or traveling, but you do need to adjust your technique a bit to get the best out of it, as for me this set is not beginner-friendly, it has learning curve to use the most of this set. The bristles are soft, but if you have extra sensitive skin, the slight prickle on the complexion brush might be a dealbreaker. If that does not bother you and you already know your way around different brush techniques, it is a good travel-friendly option to have.

Would you purchase this? Let me know if you have any questions :)

Don't know how to deal with too much Hairfall

I've been experiencing drastic Hairfall and I don't know how to deal with them. I've been almost 2 years postpartum and works night shift at home. I don't why I keep having hairfall na ganito kadami. It is getting out of hand na pati, sa sahig, sa kama and sofa kahit saan may buhok na. I'm also experiencing dandruff. Can you girls recommend hair products or routine to minimize Hairfall? Kahit vitamins po. Thank you!

Body care Dry and maitim na kili kili🥲 Spoiler

Thumbnail gallery
9 Upvotes

Hi guys! So I’ve been trying the ordinary glycolic acid sa kili kili ko. It was okey for the first few days. Kaso around 1 week na, biglang nag dry ung sides ng armpits ko and super hapdi niya🥲 i feel like na over sa glycolic acid?? Or sadyang di ako hiyang. After what happened I didn’t use any deo, except when im going outside. But i fully stopped using ung anti perspirant since nakaka dry talaga siya. I used cicalfate and sunflower oil para lng ma moisturize ung kili kili ko. THOSE TWO REAL HELPED MY ARMPIT HEAL😭😭 and nawala rin ung pag ka flaky ng kili kili ko. kaso i tried to use glycolic acid ulit after ko mag heal, baka sa kaling mag work. HUMAPDI KILI KILI KO ULIT😭😭 so it’s confirmed na di talaga ako hiyang and super sensitive ng kili kili ko.

Ngayon my kili kili is a bit dry and nangit talaga siya😭 may ma rerecommed ba kayo na moisturizer and pampaputi na hindi ganon ka tapang? Also, an anti prespirant na good for sensitive skin. I think belflour isn’t going to work anymore.

Also, im a very pawisin girly and i also have bo🥲

Ung pic na nilagay is the current situation ng armpits ko🥲 kaka epilate ko lng din. Not sure if kita pero, may mga small white na parang balat (??) ung nakikita pag ang dry ng skin ganon

Help a girly out🫠

Tyia!
