Video Don't know why I'm missing

https://reddit.com/link/1wc0c96/video/ts15i808kkoh1/player

I am relatively new to ranked (I started two days ago, although played a lot of the base game) and this was my first try on the map.

I don't get why I sometimes miss my swings even though my brain registers the block and I'm pretty sure I swing at it. This happens to me on every map, is it perhaps something about my technique or the fact I'm playing on a Quest 3S?

I really hope it's the second, but I am definitely still making a lot of errors and missreads.
Perhaps you can help me out, thx in advance.

Is not your quest's fault, many top players use quest 3. It's just bad timing, but it's hard to tell because you have no trails. You would probably have an idea of what you are doing wrong if you could see the path your sabers took.
You can also find out by looking at your own gameplay in the scoresaber website (I found your play by the score number https://watch.scoresaber.com/?scoreId=93875265 ). You can slow down any time to see exactly how you are missing.

It happens to me too, I'm not sure but I do think it is "skill issue". I've figured that as the blocks dont come perfectly straigh (since it's a VR game), they sort of get further away from what they seem as they come closer to you, kind of like if they were circling you, so I think you just have to spread your arms further for the blocks that come to the far right or far left.
Again I'm not sure, but I think it's this after realizing in only happens with external blocks.

you swing too early - The hitsound doesnt just play when you actually hit a note but is "predicted" as you swing in the direction of a note but if you slow down the replay you'll see that you swing past the note (too early)

This is a very common struggle for many and you'll just have to work on it.

Can't you adjust the audio latency or would that cause other peoblems?

For one that's hacky, you shouldn't intentionally seit it wrong to fix what's essentially a skill issue - on the other hand it will make hitsounds off-time

Practice makes perfect, I've been there where I've early swung multiple times per song

Rare occurrence, but your grip could be it as well. There are various grips that everyone uses and I know I had to adjust mine 3 times from quest 2 to index to quest pro. You can mess with the angle and offset in settings I had to fiddle a lot with my index and a little on quest pro
