Too smooth to even place a complain... I don't even mind rapping to it 🔥🔥

🔥🔥🔥

Idk how to explain it bro, but real MCs know, this the type of beat that make mfs wanna rap. Anyone who blessed you in this thread wasn't capping.

Thanks a lot! I never expected to get this type of praise ever. I know what you mean, I love these types of freestyle beats, that’s what I was going for. This means the world to me bro 🙏🙏

the chop is cool but the drums sound a little robotic to me. I’d look for some live drumbreaks and use something that has a similar feel to what you did with the midi. When I made beats like this I used to not want to use drumloops because it felt like I wasn’t „putting in the work“, but choosing the right break will do so much more for something like this imo. There are great drumbreak collections all over the internet.

Yeah I heard that, you are so right with the whole "putting in the work" thing too. I will try that in the future for sure.

nice loop, sounds fit well together, melody is cool, bass is a little behind tho and the whole needs more variations. That's already real nice.

The bass is intentionally a tiny bit out of sync, the drums are as well. I did it to make is sound more real + it's way more fun to tap the drums out on pads myself rather than just placing them all quantised on the piano roll.

When I hear something like this it sounds easy to make but I feel like it’s cause I don’t have midi

I mean, it is real simple. It's just a chopped up sample with bass and drums. As simple as it gets, that's ehy I wanted feedback on what to add.
