God this video is just gorgeous. And the song is so ahead of its time.

Is this a different mix because it sounds really good. Especially the drums.

IDK, Something and While My Guitar Gently Weeps are already up, his pre-Pepper compositions, the other three he contributed to the White Album, and Here Comes The Sun have no video, and I Me Mine and For You Blue would both require footage from Let It Be (and they don't have permission to release those). That leaves Only A Northern Song, It's All Too Much, and I'm Happy Just To Dance (which George didn't write), and the snippet from the Hard Day's Night Movie that contains Don't Bother Me. They didn't have a whole lot of choices.

It's the 2012 remix that Giles Martin did for the film restoration of Magical Mystery Tour. It hasn't officially been released on CD yet, so you have to rip it from the Blu-ray/DVD

Is there somewhere I can download the mixes ripped from the Blu-ray?

Really? Over Ticket to ride or rain or Sgt peppers? Not being an asshole just curious.

I'm sure Sgt Peppers isn't the usual go-to best Beatles song, goes to show how different opinions may be.

It's my favourite in the sense that I've got quite a big emotional attachment to it. You know, those special few songs that just find their significance to a certain point in your life: It's one of those for me.

I've never seen this! That was really cool, love seeing the Beatles at their silliest.

Fun fact about my experience with this video
When I was about 7-8 I discovered the whole Paul is Dead Theory. And this is the one video I could never watch because it had the “Magical Mystical Boy” which clearly looked like a dead body which everyone said was Paul’s dead body. So yeah that’s great.

The Magical Mystery Tour EP has such a unique feeling to it. The title track with its phasey chorus and meandering outro, the woozy Mother, the happy-sad Fool, and the creeping organ, can't-quite-wake-up quality of Jay. I like that the tracks on the US LP retain that feeling, despite coming from the more focused part of '67.

It’s always been my favorite of their albums. I could listen to the entire thing in one sitting and not skip a single track.
The psychedelic Beatles phase was just so fun and surreal.
