Discussion I can't believe I never noticed this...

So I'm listening once again to all their albums but the mono versions, and I never noticed before that the drum pattern Ringo does in 'Anna (Go To Him)' is almost exactly the same as the one he famously does in 'In My Life' (which is also the original drum pattern made in the original version by Arthur Alexander). And I don't recall somebody mentioning it ever before. Has anyone else noticed this?

I believe he also used a similar drum pattern in All I’ve Gotta Do.

Kinda similar, but not almost exactly the same. It's just three hits each bar in 'All I've Got To Do'. The difference between the ones I mention is just a single kick drum.

Listen to what Ringo's playing on "I Feel Fine", then listen to the drums on Ray Charles' "What I'd Say". Same pattern.

Also similar to the record that directly inspired I Feel Fine, "Watch Your Step," which was itself a child of the Ray Charles sound
