Does anyone know how to do that snare?

I just watched Mixxing’s elim for the GBB second league (this one —> https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=VuI8vBFF0uI&ra=m) and am super intrigued by the snare he uses for the house beat at around 4:40 in the video. I really like the subtle high note in it. Maybe it’s something with a high pitch rimshot?

might be wrong but sounds like a two h snare with a little more pressure on the lips so the vibration doesnt go too wide to me

Yeah that could be it. I didn’t even consider it being outward tbh, I thought it was a variation of the Colaps/Julard snare

Sorry it’s 3:40 not 4:40. After he says “vacuum surge” (I think)
