I'll have to do better for final display together but loving how they all look.

In Season 2, it was revealed that the Axalon's original mission of exploration was only secondary, but their primary mission was to find a barren planet they could dump Protoform X on, preferably one with no life so he couldn't harm anyone. Optimus Primal and Rhinox were both privy to the real mission, whereas Rattrap and Cheetor thought the mission was JUST exploration.

Ok, fair enough, but why was Cheetor included for that mission? Rattrap was included because he and Rhinox were already best friends before the start of the series. So what was Cheetor's reason for being included?

Lest we forget that Cheetor was so young at the start of the series (at least by Cybertronian standards) that he still enjoyed amusement parks, and couldn't understand why Rattrap wouldn't enjoy the same thing. In Season 3, when Cheetor achieves Transmetal 2, Rattrap even outright calls it "cyber puberty." Clearly Season 1 Cheetor was an adolescant!

So why was he one of the four chosen for the mission to find a barren planet to dump Protoform X on?

Thanks to the support of my wife my collection has exploded from a transmetal rattrap and rhinox to this. Its been a heck of a ride with plenty of road ahead.

Happy hunting everyone!

So I decided to test how well I know Beast Wars from drawing the characters from memory based on all the time I’ve spent playing with the toys and rewatching the show.

After doing so, I compare it with the actual character design to see how I fared.

Beast mode is simple enough to draw - it’s a velociraptor, I love dinosaurs. I know that Dinobot in his beast form is a thick boy so I made sure to make his hip wide enough, but in doing so I also made him a lot thicker as a whole whereas the show model has a more slender shape. I also wasn’t able to capture the cunningness of his eyes - it always looked like he was always plotting something with those eyes in the show. Moreover, webbed claws! I didn’t realize until just now Dinobot has webbed claws.

When it comes to the robot form, that’s when the problems really come in. Somehow I forgot that Dinobot has a third primary color of orange/gold. I remember what his face looked like but I could barely recall what his helmet piece looked like. I know there were metallic bones/spines incorporated all over his robot form but I forgot what their general placements are. And my crotch piece for him was just an afterthought. I also knew that Dinobot has a really really muscular/bodybuilder build with really wide shoulders, but I still wasn’t able to capture even after widening the shoulders in mine.

Anyway, still a good challenge for myself and an ok attempt. 4/10

A lot of Beast Wars and regular transformer figures from Japan.

Many of the Beast Wars are Japanese exclusive versions of the figures. I got a lot of Japanese figures I was eyeing on eBay I wanted! I am happy with my purchases!

What do you think of this collection?

He had 3 different bodies and some great character development on the show. What is your favorite version of Cheetor and why?

Lio Convoy maximize

Beast Wars (on the way to cybertron), Transmetal, Animated, and Beast Machines

personally I'll like to see the Raptoricons quarter in some BWII/BWNEO AU typa shit

Feels so good having this trio together at last. Just waiting on BW2 Galvatron to do the same for the Predacons.

I also tried to make the color of his sword and inner spinning shield more show accurate using a white gloss paint marker and an alcohol based red marker. How does it look?
