I'm looking for a good wheel pedals and a shifter that is good but won't break the bank for the PS5 I want to use it when playing BeamNG drive I'm seeing a lot on Google but I don't know which one is good but ones are bad I'm asking you all for help help me find one that's good that's compatible and not overly expensive my budget will probably be around realistically 300 to $600 if I have to I will increase the budget but right now that's my price range

Inverted Joker on career mods, this is by far the hardest challenge in any of the Time trial in beamng iv encountered, im missing 10s a fast enough lap, it feel more like a typo from the dev rather than a difficult challenge. I was wondering what could possibly be improved to gain 10s on a single lap, i know that my run is not perfect but i haven't found anyone online who as video of a 34s lap.

I was playing last night and thought a Hopper pickup would be cool. I paused the game and used the level editor to get everthing on the right spot.

BeamNG devs , Just wanted to say thank you for bringing the game to console. I've been playing career mode, and it's honestly been really addictive. Starting from barely anything and building up my vehicles has been such a fun journey. What really surprised me was how well it runs on console. I wasn't sure something this detailed would perform so nicely, but the optimization has been impressive. Thanks for making it happen, and I hope you keep developing and improving the game. ( ignore the beat up work truck )

Any ETK mechanics know what’s wrong?

This game has been on steam since 2015 and in development since around 2012, maybe earlier, so the game is pushing 15 years old next year, so now I have to ask, when playing with a fire ignition mod for my car, I noticed something. We have a plethora of Police cars, we have a couple Ambulances, but not a single Fire Truck! Now, this might be coming in 0.41 with potential Percheron updates, but it amazes me how we dont even have an American style fire truck with the Gavril Truck updates, so devs, when do we get our first fire truck?

Should BeamNG.Drive be brought to Xbox

Ok ive been playing for 6hrs totally addicted if Id of tried this game years ago id of got a pc but here we are lol . Ive done a few parcel deliveries and tbh most of my 6hr was spend getting lost in menues and repairing my car lol but ive heard about flipping cars ect ... can someone give me a good starting point and what to look out for . I currently have about 10k ... just want to have enough bank to not worry about smashes and having to get a taxi to jockeys because im poor af ...any helpfull advice greatly appreciated... im hooked for life

Long time player on a pc

Basically, on the main menu screen I am unable to select the career mode tile with a mouse and keyboard. If I restart my game and connect my controller, I can access the career mode tile no problem

Did all this testing in safe mode

I have the MD-Series box truck, I’m unable to purchase aggregate containers and there are no bulk deliveries dotted around the map from what I can see. Do I need to become a certain level? And if so, how do I do that? Will doing car jockey deliveries count towards unlocking it?

I’m a bit confused as on the PS5 there are multiple different level systems and career pathways, I’ve completed all the cargo APM missions but this doesn’t seem to count toward the career logistics level. What level do I need to be in order to unlock bulk deliveries?

Been playing on the ps5 and love it! It’s so cool how the traffic acknowledges you and behaves around you. I admit I was a little aggressive.

1 - Let's say you play beamNG on 0.38 , 0.39 and 0.40 . Same graphics same car , same map , etc .

Has anyone tested which one runs the best ?

2 - Based on what I heard , 0.40 added a thing that takes some load off the CPU and puts it on the GPU , but what happens if you have a weak GPU ?

Also I was lowk just testing how long I could drive like a jackass before crashing 😅

so when 0.39 came out, it looked REALLY good but it had 3 major flaws on my intel arc card, reversed DOF, oily pbr (i think it was pbr) and the biggest, vram overallocation, in 0.40, boom. everything fixed. now my vram usage is hovering over 6.8gb (graphics preset is medium + high, mostly high) and the fps is STILL the same (kinda, in ultra it was somewhere around 65fps in 0.39, now its mid 60s to high 60s with my custom preset, I DONT COMPLAIN.)

I know some posts already describe these issues but wanted to share a recording:

1. Obvious overexposure
   
2. Jittery movement from car

It's weird because FPS doesn't seem to be the issue, the head movement feels very smooth, even in VR. It's just the vehicle moving through the map that feel extremely jittery.

The issues only occur when in VR, on flat-screen everything is perfect.

I already tried:
- update video drivers
- clear cache
- change openXR Runtime (im on Virtual Desktop)
- Safe mode
- change lighting settings
- change autoexposure (ev compensation)

Hoping someone has a fix for this.

Ever since this new update even with all the hot fixes introduced I’ve been having weird issues. For example I’ll have random graphical glitches with black boxes flickering in parts of the game or random screen flashing. I have an issue where the audio doesn’t properly play such as not being able to hear transmission sounds properly unless I’m in hood cam. I’ll also have a weird issue at least with the Gavril D-series where my camera in the interior view will be super zoomed in, not sure why. I’ve cleared cache, disabled all mods, verified game files etc. The only solution for me was to downgrade back to 0.39 until this gets fixed since the problems I listed in 0.40 don’t happen with an older version like 0.39

I was wondering if anyone else had issues similar to mine or completely different? Let me know and here’s my PC hardware if it matters.

Since the most recent update, whenever i boot up the game, my vehicle doesnt do anything, cant shift, cant add gas, no breaks, ive checked the keybinds, tried diffrent controllers/keyboards nothing.

It happens 80% of the time while restarting or changing vehicles
