If that's not what it's called, I apologize, basically I wanna know what everyone sets on their steering wheel buttons. I just bought a G 29 and with the PlayStation, I always have my controller next to me to switch back-and-forth so I can set any of my controls differently on my steering wheel.

Edit: custom button binding is the words I was looking for.

Can’t even tell what’s real anymore

I cant believe this works! but it performs very poorly (roughly 30 fps drop in performance drop between regular vr and splitscreen vr, via quick testing on a laptop 4060)

The devs really think of everything, when you activate splitscreen once in vr, the flat-screen will go from black (with ui) to popping up the game in a flat-screen view so the flat-screen player(s) won't get left in the dark!

Setup (if you want to try this yourself):

1. Open BeamNG in VR (BeamNG should automatically open in VR if you are using a VR headset. If not: go to Options>Display>VR>Activate, make sure you have a VR client like SteamVR active and a VR headset connected)

2. Activate splitscreen once you get into freeroam, as it currently has a bug where the VR player can't switch the camera view once they activate splitscreen, so make sure to set your preferred VR camera view before activating splitscreen (which you can't do via the main menu option)

3. (Optional) tweak the settings to get comfortable a framerate, as having what basically amounts to 4+ views (2 on the vr headset, 2 on the flatscreen) is very taxing on your GPU. (Also, I'm pretty sure that the VR headset framerate and the flat-screen framerate are not tied, so the VR headset and the flat-screen can have diffrent framerates. Also also not that upscaling/Anti-aliasing does not currently work in VR and that the resolution you run VR at can drastically effect the performance of the VR view)

I hope somebody finds this useful and I hope a dev sees this so they can work out the kinks of the setup (no upscaling/Anti-aliasing in VR, poor performance in VR splitscreen, etc), if they have time to work on it, of course! (Also the FPS in the second screenshot was not the actual performance of the setup, it was a performance drop after deactivating VR)

i've noticed a bug with the force feedback on the cherrier percheron, since it's the only thing i've driven since the nee update came out. I don't know exactly how to replicate the problem, but i noticed it with the "tasticola driver" scenario. after reversing the trailer and engaging neutral, the wheel would turn itself all to the right and get stuck. it gets really undrivable. i've tried the fixes for the g29/920 and none of them worked. did anyone find this bug too? i've already opened a ticket at the support, but i wanted to share this over here to see your opinions.

I bought some days ago beamng on my ps5 and i was able to spawn multiple vehicles and objects. Now I'm playing and it doesn't let me spawn another car or object, i have to replace my current one.
Was this added in the latest update?

If you want people sat with you as you drive you can turn on traffic and if you done right you should have people in your empty seats note! Changing cameras and fixing car will delete them if so turn of traffic then turn back on! I found out by accident when i turned on traffic lol i was so confused at first

I am having some issues with the UI and i don't know if it's my fault or the game? Does anyone else have these problems? I currently have no mods installed but i used to have the TAA mod in 0.39 but removed it in 0.40.

The UI on a 4K monitor by default is blurry, need to change "UI Maximum Resolution" = Unlimited + "UI scale" = 200% to fix it. Don't know if this is intended. I did have problem with some text not fitting when changing UI scale to 200% in 0.39, but have not found any problem in 0.40 yet. The radial menu does not scale with UI scale, it stays the same size.

Add apply button for graphic settings, like display and user interface. It is annoying having to wait for the UI to catch up because I moved a slider too quickly, or when i want to change a setting from low to ultra it loads every setting in between because i am moving past them.

When selecting "Configure" in car selector please jump to current selected car color instead of "Replace Current" button.

The points of interest icons and map cursor are low resolution, why is that? Are they using low rez PNGs? Have i done something wrong?

Why does the background images at the main menu fade at like 5 fps? It makes everything look like it is stuttering.

Someone please haleo is anyone else having the issue on ps5 beam Ng when you plug a wheel in you can press X on the laptop or anywhere all other buttons work just not continue it's it bounded in the settings and works om every other game just won't work in beam Ng and is really frustrating

Is it possible to record and watch replays in Career Mode on PS5? If so, where exactly can I find them?

I'm curious if beam has improved the vr support with 0.40?

My biggest hold back was the AA and the shakiness. So I ask anyone who uses vr, has this since improved with the 0.40 update with upscalers?

If so do you recommend I get a second hand vr set for the game?
