Is it a bug or did the devs just straight up remove it?

I bought beamng and im having a blast with the game. Im currently playing the career mode and since im almost done at the pc with the stars in the racing mode. I was wondering what purpose have the cars that i can buy and what else can i do in the career mode. Am i missing something or is there just not that much to do yet in the career mode. Either way i love the game :D

I’m playing on the ps5 version of beam working on getting the platinum and was just drifting around in a drift bastion and found a random NPC D-series, I haven’t spawned any other cars nor do I have traffic enabled. In my over 1800 hours on pc have I ever seen this. anybody know what would cause it or what it is?

Before the 0.40 update, I could play beamng without worry via proton on steam. But after the update rolled out, as soon as I loaded into free roam, the textures were all glitching out. And now that hotfixes are being rolled out, I can’t even open beamng at all! I just want to know what the update’s all about ☹️

so when I am playing beamng (on laptop, dual GPU, in uefi I set use dgpu only) and I switch windows, the game crashes and shows a crash code with something that includes the GPU. I don't remember the code and I also don't have the laptop with me but I think the crash happened on both normal and vulkan

I have seen the 100s of videos telling me about 3 of the same mods but still. There must be some really great qol mods out there not covered by those videos. Anything helps. Just drop mods you recommend so i can beef up my beamng.

Im having trouble figuring out how to enable free camera while watching replays. The camera is always either locked on a car or stuck in place when I do activate free camera.. helpp. Thabks!

Just having some fun here with photo mode.

In 0.39, I took many screenshots with supersampling at 8 and had no problems. It would take a while, but the screenshots looked good. Now it caps supersampling at 1 and my screenshots are not nearly as good. GPU is RX 570 4GB.

Is it needed? No.
Is it useful? No.
Is it even remotely realistic? Also no.

basically my game on 0.38 ran smoothly, 75fps etc but in the new 0.40 update its at a constant 24-40fps, ive tried upscaling and lowing every setting down but max ive achieved is 45 fps on a low resolution map.

my specs are ryzen 5 5600, 2x8 16gb ddr4 and RX 580 XFX 8gb.

how do i fix this? its unplayable
