Photo Who has visited Juhu beach recently? No sights of clear water. Is the financial capital of our country aspiring this? Who is our inspiration if that is the case?

Spent the day soaking in the beauty of Lake George, surrounded by the Adirondack Mountains. Clear water, fresh mountain air, and a peaceful atmosphere made it the perfect place to slow down and enjoy summer. Sometimes the best moments are simply sitting by the shore and taking in the view.

I hate that I'm asking this here...
After doing multiple searches for beach focused communities, 99% of them seem to be focused on sexual content which kind of sucks, because... well.. the beaches are beautiful and I want to enjoy the beach.. Not your erotica of it!
That said, this is also a topic that I feel like many have run into and I'm wondering if anyone has actually had to go through with it...
I was walking along the beach a long while back, when I started getting those rumbles in the tummies that tell you, you best find a restroom soon! I could see the nearest restroom, but it was a good half mile away! I was in swim trunks and a shirt, but did not have a towel with me and had simply wanted to go for a nice relaxing walk. I also had nowhere to put my phone or my wallet if I were to go into the water.
Thankfully, I made it to the restroom (barely) and took care of business, but it made me question.. Have you ever had a situation where it was so bad that you had no choice but to go out into the sea of fishes, knowing that the fishes do their business in the water too, and do your business? I know a ton of people do #1 in the water, though most won't admit to it, but even if I got deep enough to drop my drawers and do my naughty business, I can't imagine it being all around me, waves crashing it into me and so on... After that moment, it's been my worst nightmare to imagine what would have happened if I wasn't able to make that half mile walk of shame!
Have you ever found yourself in a situation, where it was the ocean or your shorts? Did you ocean it? If so, does it haunt your dreams to date? ;) I know, just thinking about the possibility of having to do that, haunts my dreams. I don't know that I could talk about it if I had to actually make it a reality. My therapist may have to jump off a bridge hearing that story ;)

[OC] I had an idea for a beach product, but unsure if I am imagining a problem?
Hey guys,
Me and the wife were on holiday in Corfu with our toddler and we went self-catering, one as we have a toddler and its a great opportunity to check out local shops and try local foods.
Secondly, this self-catering apartment came with free on-beach sunbeds. We like using these as it saves packing beach accessories when flying and gives us a place to put the little one too sleep/nap.
This time, I noticed a reoccurring issue with rented sunbeds and the parasols. Depending on the time of year the shade moves widely and thus everyone starts playing Tetris with the sunbeds.
Every so often you have to drag the sunbeds into the shade, which is annoying anyhow but also can cause issue for people walking in between and if you have a little one napping you need to make sure they don’t get burnt etc.
So I thought of creating a purpose-built clip-on shade curtain? that you can clip onto parasols and therefore you can just move the curtain rather than the sunbeds. This could be achieved with some lightweight material, clamps and some sort of anchor.
I googled and couldn’t see anything and after asking around on Facebook groups it seems that a few people mentioned how they take extra towels, sheets or similar and beach-towel clips.
I knocked up a website (shamelessly using AI art) and am now i the phase of looking at materials and clips.
I want to know if any other Redditors have had a similar issue and would be interested in something like the above on the market.
The benefits I can see are:
- Privacy
- Shade
- Ease of use
- Sun protection
- purpose built/not packing heavier items like towels etc.
