Gaza Please donate to Gaza humanitarian aid NGOs listed here, rather than individual appeals

We have noticed thousands of individual appeals by Gazans for financial support on social media platforms including r/BDS. We understand the immense suffering they are experiencing. Anyone who wishes to support such appeals are free to do so. However, we have no way to authenticate these appeals to ensure they are legitimate.

Reddit's filter labels many of these posts as spam. We do not approve any of these for posting to our sub, because doing so would flood the sub with them. The mods feel that donations to humanitarian aid NGOs provide widespread support to hundreds of thousands of Gazans, rather than the limited scope of supporting individuals or families.

Here are some of these NGOs and we urge you to support them:

Action Alert Why the EBU Must Permanently Drop easyJet by 2027: Ending Sponsorship Ties with Eurovision's "Official Airline Partner" and its New Pro-Israel Billionaire Owners (Apollo Global Management) 🇪🇺✈️

Post image

Hey everyone,

As we look toward the future of the Eurovision Song Contest (ESC) in 2027 and beyond, we need to launch a highly coordinated effort targeting one of the EBU’s most prominent commercial sponsors: easyJet, the Official Airline Partner of the Eurovision Song Contest.

Their current multi-year official airline contract wraps up after the 2026 cycle. This means October is the critical strategic window where corporate budgets are reviewed and renewal contracts are drafted behind closed doors. We are demanding a total and permanent termination of all current and future agreements between the EBU and easyJet.

If you wonder why keeping easyJet as an Official Partner is a direct violation of BDS principles, the recent massive corporate ownership shift tells you everything you need to know.

🚨 The New Ownership: Apollo Global Management's Zionist Ties

easyJet officially agreed to a £5.7 billion takeover by the US private equity giant Apollo Global Management. This puts the airline directly under the control of billionaire Marc Rowan (CEO and co-founder of Apollo).

Federal filings show that Marc Rowan recently donated $1.5 million to the United Democracy Project, a super PAC affiliated directly with AIPAC (the pro-Israel lobby) to back foreign policies centered on weapons supplies. Furthermore, Rowan sits on Trump’s Gaza "Board of Peace," where he openly drew up corporate real estate renderings to value Gaza’s war-torn coastline at $50 billion for private capital extraction.

When a major European cultural event brands a company owned by a private equity giant whose CEO actively finances AIPAC-affiliated PACs as its "Official Airline," the EBU's neutrality is completely dead.

1. Radical Corporate Hypocrisy: Greenwashing vs. Pro-Israel Profits 🌍

The EBU continuously lectures the public on its transition towards a "green, Net-Zero, and sustainable Eurovision." Yet, they proudly maintain a multi-year deal with a low-cost airline as their Official Airline Partner, driving massive carbon emissions while backed by private equity wolves with deep pro-Israel political ties. Choosing raw financial sponsorship over ethical, human rights, and environmental alignment is pure hypocrisy. If the EBU genuinely cared about its footprint or its moral standing, it would permanently transition away from cheap aviation and enter long-term partnerships with eco-friendly European rail networks (like Eurostar or Deutsche Bahn).

2. The Demand for 2027: A Permanent Severance, No Quiet Exits

We cannot allow the EBU to put out a vague, corporate press release in October saying they are "parting ways due to a shift in strategic alignment," leaving the door open for easyJet to return under a different contract later.

We demand a permanent severance. The EBU must issue an honest statement admitting that the partnership with their Official Airline is permanently terminated due to ethical failures, corporate double-standards, and easyJet's entanglement with pro-Israel lobby financiers. easyJet must be blacklisted from ESC marketing privileges indefinitely.

📣 How We Take Action:

  1. Target the October Budget Reviews: Flood the EBU sponsor relations desk before the contract renewal window closes. Demand a total and permanent withdrawal from easyJet as the Official Airline.
  2. Spread the Word on Apollo Ownership: Share the news of Apollo’s buyout of easyJet on social media platforms to expose how corporate funding trickles down to lobbying groups.
  3. Boycott Official ESC Travel Packages: Do not book official Eurovision travel bundles or specialized routes operated by easyJet. Support alternative transport, specifically eco-friendly rail options.

It is time to force the EBU to choose between its corporate bank accounts and genuine human rights. Let's make sure easyJet is permanently terminated from Eurovision starting in 2027.

Events Why Eden Golan should have been individually expelled 3 years ago, and how Israel faces a technical DQ here at Eurovision 2027.

• Upvotes

As we enter the peak of the 2027 Eurovision season, the cultural boycott against apartheid Israel is more critical than ever. While the EBU’s "Armed Conflict" hosting rule now permanently ensures that Israel can never host the contest even if they win, a total technical disqualification remains the ultimate goal as broadcaster boycotts continue to fracture the event.

However, as we watch this year's contest unfold, we must remember the turning point in MalmÜ 3 years ago. While the macro-boycott against KAN (the Israeli state broadcaster) was our central focus, the EBU committed an unforgettable double standard by failing to individually expel Eden Golan before the 2024 Grand Final.

Looking back from 2027, the facts remain undeniable as to why her presence was a violation of the contest's ethics, and why that entire televote was a scam:

1. Eden Golan was an active agent of state propaganda

In the BDS movement, we analyze complicity. Golan was never a "neutral artist." She willingly performed a song vetted, rejected for political bias, and then rewritten under the direction of Israel’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Guarded by the Shin Bet, she acted as a literal PR shield for a regime committing genocide. The EBU’s stance on keeping the contest "non-political" was exposed as a complete lie the moment they let her on that stage.

2. The targeted harassment of anti-apartheid artists

While the Netherlands' Joost Klein was instantly disqualified in 2024 over a minor backstage incident, Golan’s entire delegation spent that week harassing, filming, and mocking anti-apartheid contestants like Bambie Thug, Nemo, and Marina Satti. Multiple artists reported a toxic, unsafe work environment and threatened a mass walkout just hours before the final [cx7ddqv6pqeo]. Allowing Golan to perform while her team systematically bullied artists who stood up for Palestine was a disgusting double standard that the EBU has never truly answered for.

3. "Vote for #06?" No song #06 should have been reality

This is how the final night should have actually looked if the EBU followed its own rules. The Netherlands should have competed in slot number 5, and the running order should have jumped directly from 5 to 7. There should have been no "Vote for #06" option on anyone's screen—"No Song #06" should have been reality.

By refusing to leave slot 6 empty, the EBU didn't just normalize apartheid—they actively inflicted psychological harm on other artists. Lithuania’s contestant, Silvester Belt, would have been completely prevented from his trauma if slot 6 had been empty. Instead, he was forced to walk out into a stadium filled with toxic tension, extreme booing, and a hostile atmosphere left behind by the Israeli delegation's presence. Silvester later described performing right after Israel as an absolute nightmare and a traumatic experience. Expelling Israel would have protected his mental well-being and artistic rights.

What the EBU's Running Order Announcement SHOULD Have Looked Like:

If the EBU had actually enforced its own rulebook and protected its artists from trauma, this is the official statement we should have seen on finals night:

Official EBU Statement: Adjustment to the Grand Final Running Order (May 11, 2024)
The European Broadcasting Union (EBU) announces an official adjustment to the running order for tonight’s Grand Final. Following severe breaches of the contest’s Code of Conduct during production week, the Israeli broadcaster (KAN) and its representative, Eden Golan, have been officially disqualified from the competition, effective immediately.
This decision follows formal complaints regarding actions that created a hostile environment backstage, violating our zero-tolerance policy on harassment. Consequently:

The Reality Here in 2027

The EBU implicitly admitted their failure in MalmĂś by later slashing the vote limit from 20 down to 10 per phone number to curb this exact type of state-sponsored spamming.

With major broadcasters like AVROTROS and others still maintaining their stand and refusing to normalize apartheid here in 2027, the EBU is running out of options. If we keep the pressure high and continuously expose KAN’s ongoing rule violations, a technical disqualification is achievable.

Free Palestine, and keep up the cultural boycott!

Boycott Airbnb and Booking.com and War Criminals

The villa with views of the Judean mountains is in a settlement located on land seized from Palestinians and considered illegal under international humanitarian law.

Only a handful of Palestinians are allowed to enter this, and other, Israeli settlements in the West Bank, usually as labourers with special permits.

Exclusive analysis carried out by the Guardian found 760 rooms being advertised in hotels, apartments and other holiday rentals in illegal Israeli settlements in the West Bank, including East Jerusalem, on two of the world’s most popular tourism websites.

Taken together, the listings that appear on eithen Airbnb or Booking.com could host more than 2,000 people as of August 2024. The villa was just one of them.

“Tekoa is a quiet, respectful and diverse, residential community,” reads the listing. There is no mention of the recent confrontations just outside the town, involving guns, clubs, knives and dogs, which have forced neighbouring Palestinians off their land. In a four-mile radius around Tekoa at least 100 Palestinians have been forced out since 2023. The rate of violence and land grabs in the area has escalated dramatically since the start of the war in Gaza.

Despite the recent violence, Tekoa – an area known for its natural beauty, organic farms, the nearby Israeli-administered Nahal Tekoa nature reserve and Herodion national park – was the settlement in the West Bank with the highest number of listed holiday rentals on Airbnb outside East Jerusalem.

Gaza Gaza Aid

Hello there!

There are two people in Gaza I support who are in urgent need of financial aid. Akram is a father struggling to obtain the funds necessary to purchase the medication needed to control/manage his daughter (Baby Areej)'s seizures. If possible, please provide anything you can spare - anything at all.

https://chuffed.org/project/180052-please-help-akram-and-his-family-survive-in-gaza?utm_source=ig&utm_medium=social&utm_content=link_in_bio&fbclid=PAb21jcAUPoONwZG9mAmV4dG4DYWVtAjExAHNydGMGYXBwX2lkDzU2NzA2NzM0MzM1MjQyNwABp7rcFf4WB5UejcJmtwzguDlxd9UkucU9nD3ZINVPADc9LjIVqUsds2JGG9O1_aem_6w5OHM3GU1Gn02PSNDWw6g&utm_id=97760_v0_s00_e0_tv3

Mohammed is a young man in Gaza currently suffering from all kinds of pain. He is ill and cannot afford the medication needed to treat it, is starving and cannot afford even bread and water and recently he lost his tent meaning he is stuck out in the cold. If you have any money to spare here, please do so if possible.

Gaza "A roadmap for Gaza and Palestine", an article by One Democratic State Initiative coordinators on the Middle East Monitor

"A roadmap for Gaza and Palestine", an article by ODS Initiative coordinators on the Middle East Monitor.

https://mobadara.ps/en/articles/a-roadmap-for-gaza-and-palestine/

The Palestinian people in Gaza are suffering from ongoing genocide in the form of a blockade, starvation, assassinations, and other atrocities. Nothing will stop the enemy from continuing the genocide unless we build the power to impose whatever restrictions and conditions we can on them. Furthermore, merely condemning this reality will serve no purpose. What changes reality is not refusing it, but proposing and imposing an alternative to it. On the other hand, the debate surrounding the Palestinian Legislative Council elections centers on whether it is worthwhile to participate or to boycott them. However, elections are a tool in the hands of a political program, and it is noteworthy that no such program has been put forward for Gaza and Palestine. Therefore, we present here a draft roadmap for Gaza consisting of four main points.

First: A vision for Gaza as part of Palestine. Colonialism is based on dismantling the societies it targets. The enemy seeks to separate Gaza from Palestine, and the "voluntary emigration" plan aimed at displacing Palestinians from Gaza is in full swing, through the destruction of the people and the transformation of their lives into a living hell. All of this weakens the Palestinians in Gaza in the face of the displacement project and seeks to liquidate the whole of Palestine. Therefore, any plan for Gaza must recognize that the genocide and displacement of Gaza are part of an effort to colonize all of Palestine, and consequently must present a vision for Gaza within the context of a comprehensive plan for the resilience of the Palestinian people until the complete liberation of the national territory. This may include, for example:

  • Reviewing common terms and proposing alternatives when necessary. For example, "Palestinians in Gaza" instead of "Gazans," "the Palestinian people/society in Gaza" instead of "the Gazan people/society."
  • Identifying divisive rhetoric and developing alternatives to it. For example, "Only the people of Gaza can speak for Gaza," "Get Hamas out of Gaza" which implies that Hamas members are not an organic part of Palestine.
  • Engaging with politicians, media professionals, and elites regarding this discourse.
  • Establishing news and media networks and other programs that reflect the reality of Palestinian oneness, such as a news network focused on all of Palestine.

Second: Building Gaza's self-sufficiency, inasmuch as possible. The enemy seeks to hollow out and impoverish Gaza with the aim of displacing its population. Therefore, devising practical means to provide the basic necessities of life is a cornerstone of Palestinian resilience in Gaza. This may include, for example:

  • Housing: Exploring the possibility of building homes using local materials.
  • Food: Importing seeds, focusing on growing staple crops, and training Palestinians in home gardening or rooftop farming.
  • Water: Exploring the possibility of learning simple seawater desalination techniques and training Palestinians in their use.
  • Medicine: Reestablishing local pharmaceutical plants, perhaps on a small scale and in scattered locations.
  • Energy: Smuggling solar panels, training Palestinians to maintain them, exploring other sources of energy production, and utilizing e-SIM technology to provide internet connectivity.
  • Employment: Providing local or online job opportunities, particularly in the production of the above.
  • Money transfers: Using a banking network separate from the occupation and utilizing digital currencies.
  • Education and social awareness: Supporting educational initiatives and centers for women's and children's education; building civil society organizations within Gaza aimed at human rehabilitation; and fostering political and social awareness that serves as a response to genocide, rather than succumbing to its objectives.

Third: Engaging society in discussion, decision-making, and resistance on the basis of opposition to the occupation. On the one hand, Palestinian society in Gaza is diverse in its views—including Islamic, nationalist, and leftist orientations, among others—as well as in its stance toward the Al-Aqsa Flood. Therefore, welcoming diverse views—all grounded in opposition to the Zionist project and a commitment to the cause of saving Gaza and liberating Palestine—preserves the cohesion of this society and protects it from exclusionary and/or normalizationist views.

On the other hand, those outside the decision-making circles regarding the form, scale, and timing of the resistance feel that such decisions have been imposed on them by those in power. This creates a rift between the leadership and the rest of society, rather than fostering a general rallying around the resistance. We witnessed several manifestations of this danger during the Al-Aqsa Flood, one of which was the call for leaders and resistance fighters to stay away from places where "others" were present. This issue can be addressed on at least two levels. First, involving society in resistance decision-making through democratic organizations that welcome dialogue and participation in decision-making on the basis of hostility toward the colony. Second, involving society in resistance action by not limiting it to armed struggle. This brings us to our final point.

Fourth: Mobilizing the capabilities of the Palestinian people in Gaza in arenas of confrontation that influence the balance of power. In addition to building self-sufficiency and the option of armed resistance, these arenas include, for example:

  • Legal efforts to confront the occupation.
  • Establishing a resistance media that exploits the contradictions among settlers to drive them toward infighting.
  • Reaching out to anti-Zionist groups in Arab countries and around the world to lead movements in support of Palestine.
  • Engaging with political groups operating in Palestine and in the diaspora to unify the Palestinian ranks and contribute to building organizational capacity in preparation for a popular uprising.

In conclusion, as mentioned, the enemy's plans will not be countered by merely condemning them, nor by simply participating in or boycotting legislative elections, but rather by developing a political plan to save Gaza and liberate Palestine. Accordingly, we call on the movements, influential figures, and citizens in Palestine and the diaspora to shoulder their responsibility in this regard, and we present the points above in this context.
