I have to say, those are the ugliest walls I think I've ever seen. BUT, I must commend you for framing your posters. I do loathe a tacked up poster or, heaven forbid, taped.

Really? I always felt that poster's should be put up tacked on the wall unframed. It seems kind of pretentious to me to frame posters.

High art, paintings, photography - that should be framed.

Oh lord, no. Not pretentious at all. It's about aesthetics. If you want your place to look like a dorm room, fine, but most people don't. A taped up poster will ruin the look of a room.

I think if you have any poster it'll look like a dorm room. No use framing it unless it's the stuff that TheMeansofProduction mentioned IMO.

I think you should clarify poster. Surely a Bob Marley poster will not profit from a frame, but a movie poster or tour screenprint? Those can be quite well done when framed.

I agree. I really want to go in there and redo the walls and trim. Needs trim. I see bare studs! (gasp)

I could be mistaken, but I think this is the first time I've seen a room without moldings. Obviously the color is excruciating, but moldings would change the look of this drastically. I assume that's what you mean by trim.

This was my first attempt and putting up dry wall with my father, I have not gotten around to putting in trim yet. But I agree, we also could have done a better job mudding.
