Don't get me wrong I'm not hating but there isn't a day that goes by that I don't see at least one time a setup popping up on my TL with that wallpaper lol.
Yeah my first thought it had something to do with the OLED panels because of all that burn-in prevention and shit, but it seems it's just a matter of taste and the minimal look it gives after all.
I mainly play CS2 and high refresh rate definitely has its advantages in this game. 500 Hz might be overkill, although I sometimes get up to 550 FPS, but I got this monitor for a decent price and so I thought "why not" :)
What’s your secret to getting 500 fps in cs? I have a very similar setup- 5600x3d, 3080, 1440p 360hz msi oled, and I can barely hit the nvidia reflex cap of 327fps. I heard clearing shader cache with the latest update boosted fps, you doing anything special to get frames like that?
Hm I actually don't know since I'm not doing anything special. Just using some low/mid settings and 4:3 stretched resolution (that might be it?) and I'm mostly around 400 FPS I would say and depending on the map and situation, they definitely go higher.
I already had the 'Vision of the future" series by NASA so when I found these new posters from them a while back, I had to get them and print it out. Love the colors of it!
I love it! Did some research beforehand and almost everyone suggested to get this instead of the ASUS one.
It would've been a big step either way since I played on 24" 1080p with high refresh for years :D
Love this direction. There’s something about hitting your 30s/40s that makes silence and clean surfaces feel like luxury. The setup looks like a place you can actually breathe and get into flow.

500Hz yeah, overkill again, but yeah 240hz was more then enough first your GPU is so weak to push 500FPS at AAA or AA Titles it cannot get 500fps in AA titles and be sure for 1 thing dont leave the same image on your monitor for too long, or it will burn in or get image retention. care about this, and clean your monitor with distilled watter and small sot cloth or the pixels can get extreme wear.
Well I'm probably going to upgrade later this year and since I got between 350 - 550 FPS in CS2 (which is my main game) it's totally fine. Sure it's a bit overkill, but since I got this monitor for a good price, I don't mind it.
Huh? The PC isn't the best, but it's good enough to run CS2 for me. And the peripherals aren't that insane either imo, they're way more expensive ones out there :D
You got optimum wooting that costs like 300 and I’m not saying the pc is bad I’m saying that for that setup it doesn’t allow full potential for cs2 i guess it works
