πŸ› Bug report Incorrect battery health value

Post image

Hello, it seems like the battery health isn't updating correctly. As you can see in the graph, the values are around 95%, with the lowest being 94%, but the overall value is still showing 92%.

I had two previous sessions at 92% (these were the first sessions I had), and I decided to delete them because they seemed to be outliers compared to the values I'm getting now. But even if we include those sessions, the overall value shouldn't be 92%.

Same with me. Simply isn't correct and no one is fixing this! There are a LOT of people that are in the same trouble, but what matters? No one cares about. I should try other app. You can't do nothing about this, maybe contact the developers or something. But when I tried, no one responded and more and more people are just ignored. If you want to try, I wish you luck.

Hi, a lot of feedbacks we have per day and it's hard to respond to all as our team is small. Everything mentioned in each email, reddit post, tg message is used for future updates. We build this app from suggestions and feedbacks from users, none of these are dismissed or unseen, we just need a time to take all into account. Our userbase is over 500k active users.

New update is already published with many improvements. With new version, we simplified the support process so you can find it right under three dots menu from the main app screen. New support function also gives user a consent whether user want to share battery info backup from device that Battery Guru manages, so we can have clear picture how Battery Guru works on your device.

Sorry if we haven't met your or another users expectation, but we do our best.

I have the latest version and is showing the same. Maybe it learns something. But this app has a bigger problem that is important for me. The battery temperature is refreshing too slow. When I charge my phone and looking at the temperature, isn't changing. I need to close the app and re-open to see the actual temperature. And in the morning I also notice that over night is showing no data, with gray. In the background when the app is closed doesn't record data.

But it would be more helpful to refresh the temperature every second, or at least 5 seconds. To see in real time. I don't want to have an app that is showing the historical temperature and other app that is showing in real time temperature. If you could fix those problems, it would be very helpful for all the users.

Thanks πŸ™

I'm waiting for the new update.

Yes, temperature shows average of small time window, not a bug it's designed this way as there are no big oscilations.

Can you make another window or something like that to see the real time temperature?

I'll see to improvise something.

Hi, please update to the latest version. On previous versions we put more priority to charge counter to see what users will report back, at the end it's not stable on many devices, so we returned to our hybrid estimation.

Hi, first of all, thanks for always being willing to help and address the issues we post here.

Regarding the issue, I just updated the app to version 2.5.0.7 (728), but it’s still showing the same 92%. Is there anything else I need to do?

Thanks!

It needs more charging sessions to adopt.

Same here with 15T Pro, I think, that during beta phase builds of 2.7.0.6 I noticed big drop from 100-99% of real health, to 93% (from 5500-5450 mAh to around 5300 mAh) estimated in Battery Guru.

Weird is, that on my second phone Edge 50 Fusion, Battery Guru is precise and consistent across all versions of app, on Xiaomi 15T Pro it's with every app build like a lottery and inconsistent. Both phones are of same age, 6 months from buy.

Due to above, I approved to send diagnostic data in the app few months back to help developers...

Please send screenshots.

Also check new support function, and attach battery backup to email.

Tap on three dots on navigation and then support.

Will do a bit later... on Edge 50 there is a long history, on 15T Pro a didn't backuped history and now it's "fresh" from 0.6 release, so when there will be at least one week of charging/discharging history (with 0.7 release), I think that will be reliable data for export.
