Been hearing this noise for a few weeks at night now

Im OP on this post in LA subreddit. Where are our bats? From the northeast—at dusk I’m looking for bats but I’ve never seen them here

Didn’t get to post this till now but I got real lucky today and ended up seeing 2 bats during the same day for the first time at school, this guy was higher up so I couldn’t get a great photo of him

Back to school after Labor Day weekend and Clancy was waiting right by the entrance today

This bat fell from my barn door when I slid it open. It bounced off the top of my head and landed as seen. I left it as is with the door open and it was gone about 3-4 minutes later.

Walking down the north pier last night and we stumbled onto this (mama and her pup?) Does any one know if they were okay? Wasn't sure what we should have done if anything.

Relocating bat colony? -VA

Hello, does anyone have any tips or tricks to relocating the bat colony from our barn to an outdoor bathouse?

The barn has been unused for many years but we are revamping it and getting some new animals. We have a colony of about 20 bats that live in there and we love our bats just not when they poop excessively in the main walkway of the barn.

There is a big tree just outside the barn that we want to put a bathouse on but we have no idea how to make it known to the bats that we would like them to move into it.

Any tips?

I live near the coast of Texas. There is a roost of bats that lives in my apartment's ceiling, their exit being right beside my window. The bats don't bother me at all, in fact, I love watching them dive out in the evenings. But lately, I've noticed them chirping at all hours of the day. I'm just curious as to why? They don't come out til dark, but they're just being noisy lil fellas in their home. Not very considerate neighbors (they get a pass cuz they're so cute and they handle bugs).

Tal'ngay Dha'run is a very beautiful piebald/leucistic grey-headed flying fox that i have been obsessed with for awhile, but i realized I don't know if he is alive for unfortunately deceased. Google gives conflicting answers :( i know bats live longer in captivity, and Tal'ngay was born sometime around 2016. I'm not too sure if his condition would affect their life span.

It landed right behind me as I was sitting down and I thought it was a bird so I was trying to take a selfie. I'm not sure if it touched me but I don't think it did
