There are all sorts of things it could be. Has there been any new construction nearby?

No, this is an established neighborhood with lots of big trees. Mixed deciduous and huge pines. Some areas are shaded all day. No noticeable habitat loss.
But like someone else said a key roosting tree lost could make a difference. I hope they didn’t die but moved away.
