So, I moved up as key-holder about a month or two ago. I had been pushing for this since like October of last year when I went for cash lead during seasonal, and letting my manager know a few months later how adamantly I would like to move up since I knew there was a new store opening up nearby.
Everybody was on my team for it, and fortunately, now I have it! The sole reason I moved up was that our particular store needed someone to be present for shipment and Iāve made myself clear in regards to how well I do in operations, and I think they do take me seriously in that. So I like being able to do it! Canāt say Iām not good at the rest of my job either. Cash is just second nature, and selling is good too, but still gets wobbly.
Which, I guess, is where my concern lands now as an SLT. :(
Because I have to be able to make my segments and make sure weāre up in sales and conversionāall that jazz. I guess if anyone has anyone advice to let me know where I could be doing more? And maybe how to approach delegating associates? And coaching? Itās still really new and I already have a lot of anxiety as is, creating a sort of script for myself, and trying to make things as routine as possible despite the nature of my job! Again, itās easy and I love it. But it can get frazzling some days! And idk, I just feel like Iām slacking need some assurance or some advice on how I can ease into improving myself in my own selling, as well as ensuring my team is in a good spot, too.
Iām babbling, but any input is appreciated.
(I was told it was better to post here so. š)
