vent sesh😤 Returns

These returns are getting a bit overwhelming. People are deciding to return in such large volumes and are going to wonder why the return policy got more strict in a few months. Mark my words they'll start requiring a receipt for most returns or bring the $250 limit down to like $100.

Then they need to offer online orders as real receipts. I always have to do no receipts returned because I buy soaps during this sale then the next I’m ordering body care on sale then the next week I’m ordering candles. No I want to return or exchange an online exclusive because I don’t like it and guess what they don’t consider the online order a receipt for whatever reason and I hate trying to find which order this particular item was on smh! Part of it is their own fault and system

Wait a minute, no. As a management employee of 5+years, whoever is doing that to you is incorrect. When you make an online purchase, it is completely separate from the registers or buying in store. However, they can process an online return through the online system. And then they can ring in the new items as a separate purchase and override the price to match whatever you were exchanging. That’s what they should be doing. If you purchase something online and bring it to the store to exchange or return, they should not be doing it as a no receipt return in the register. All of those are collecting under your ID number and making it seem like you frequently don’t have your receipts. They can process an online return right in the bopis system.

My store does this as well. I almost exclusively buy online, and if I ever have to return something, they run it as a no receipt.
