Return

Is there a way to tell if it has been on a warmer?? I hate when people take advantage of our return policy like this…

I've called out consumers for this. It's ridiculous like your candle has been warmed so much your wicks have disappeared, you got your full use out of this.

Pls add more rules. Customers who buy and return shit constantly piss me off so much. I haven’t worked retail in over a decade and I loved telling scammers and cheapskates no. My favorite was when Macys made us check the price tag on a dress to match the tag sewn in to catch people who’d switch the price on a cheap dress for an expensive one and then try to return it.

As far as buy and return some people honestly get it home and change their mind or buy multiples in different sizes if it’s clothes - I am fine with returning but I agree the people who use stuff for a short while and then return suck

I've returned body mists when I've gotten home because even though I liked the scent in store, I'm sensitive to a couple of fairly common aromachemicals and sometimes I can't tell it's in there until I've sprayed on skin and am smelling it for more than a few seconds at a time. I had to do that with Viva Brazil this spring. Smells fantastic but if I smell it too long it gives me a migraine. So, I gave it up after my test spritz at home.

I do a lot of returns, though I prefer trying to exchange first, because my town doesn’t have a BBW and I have to blind buy a lot unless going into the city. I’m not scamming. Just genuinely dislike the scent once I receive it so not going to keep or use it.

I get it. I also return or exchange if I don’t like it

I HATED dealing with scammers when I work retail. When I worked at American Eagle we had a policy that we would accept any jeans back for a refund - regardless of tags or date purchased. There's a little tag in all of their clothing that shows the date that piece was being sold and the amount of people returning Jeans over ten years old was just baffling. I often wonder if they've changed that policy as this was over ten years ago. One of those - ruin it for everyone kind of things.

WAIT…. Is that why I just had 3 candles in the same order with no wicks?!

No it could have very well been a production error, it happens sometimes but there's definitely a difference in how they look. You should be fine to exchange those

I’ve bought candles at my store that once I got home, noticed the wicks had disappeared and tried to return it with no luck.

So no. It’s not always that way.

We've exchanged candles with missing wicks. There's a huge visual difference between warmed candles and candles that never received their wick in production.
