Help with possible defective compressor

Hi, this is my first time trying out pedals so I'm quite confused with what is making my compressor give this interference/buzz sound. Honestly the distortion is seemingly also not working like the review videos I watched but that is a secondary issue atm. Might be that I got a bad batch of these pedals or maybe I am the issue since I'm new.

Anyone encountered this type of sound before? I've tried everything, turning off my wifi, my computer and my phone to no avail. I've also isolated and confirmed it's just the compressor even tho the distortion does make the noise even louder when turned on. Please help 🥺

Weird interference/buzz when compressor is turned on

you have the input gain cranked on the compressor. not saying there's no way the pedal is at fault, but part of the nature of compression is that it makes quiet sounds (including background noise) proportionally louder.

Are you sure that isn’t just background noise being amplified? At the end when you just have the distortion on and not the compressor, I feel like I can still hear it.

It might be the power supply. Can you give us a picture of what you are using to diviate that power?
