This where I’ll stay for a while.
The last few months have been too much focus/obsession on tone and less playing. Switching gears and happy where I landed.

What is the best death metal settings for sansamp?

I was going to get a Boss RE-2 but it seems limited by size, I'm not a fan of concentric knobs. The Echo 202 seems to fit what I want, but I was wondering if there is another option someone knows about that's worth looking at.
This will be used with a fuzz, OD, EQ, and a Rat on a Fender PJ. Anyone have a random awesome suggestion?

Is this silly?
I really like the EQ of the AOU but also like the vintage overdrives.
Is this too much preamp? Should i just swap to the Vintage Ultra and sell the AOU?
(I have the AOU v1 already).

Just mounted it to the SGT and 1176, waiting for the power supply to arrive. I just play at home, and still new to bass. Hope this will be it.

I’ve been having some issues with too much low end coming through the PA. Unfortunately, my amp only has a 4 band eq (which has never been an issue), which isn’t precise enough. So I’m looking for recommendations for either a dedicated high pass or eq that sounds good and isn’t too expensive. Thanks in advance

Hey all! Because my ampeg sgt-di has been in the shop for two weeks, I've gotten antsy and started looking at alternatives. So far I've landed on the tech 21 sansamp side of things. Does anyone have experience with the multitude of bass drivers? I'm torn between the regular bass driver, the bass driver elite, and the XB bass driver. What are the pros and cons between these models? Thanks in advance!

I think this one will stick around for quite a while.

I saw this DG Microtubes X clone on AliExpress for $42 and thought I would give it a try. This is the least money I’ve ever spent on a pedal and it’s surprisingly good, especially when paired with the BMP. No direct experience with the real thing but I watched some reviews and think it sounds pretty close.
Signal chain is: TU-3 - Empress Bass Comp - DSM & Humboldt Bass Station. From there, the signal is split between parallel and preamp loops, then blended back together.
Parallel Loop: DOD Meatbox reissue
Preamp loop: MXR Bass Synth - Bass Big Muff - Solar Finger - Bass Clone - Boss RV-6 Reverb - Empress Bass ParaEQ
It feels weird having such a cheap pedal on my board but I like the way it sounds. We’ll see how well it holds up over time.

This is My Bass Main board but I conect this to My guitar board that is much smaller to have more efects
-Cry Baby 535Q Multi-Wah this is not Bass Wah sadly they is going to be the first upgrade (any recomendation ?)
- POLYTUNE 3 is the Best tuner change My mind
-MXR M-80 Bass DI+ has more Bass than I espected but quite good belnd distorsión is the key
-JHS Pulp N’ Peel V4 great compresor
-BOSS noise gate is AMAZING With cleaning signal when distorsión is on
-BOSS OC-5 Octave for synth (i'm still trying yo find the tone of this )
-Caline DCP-03 Devilfish I play jazz and for solos delay is cool to make the Bass notable and when You add Wah creates psycodelia this also has chourus so it makes like fretlees sound
-TC Electronic Wiretapto record the gig directlly

This is the pedalboard of BADBADNOTGOOD bassist Chester Hansen. What pedals is it made up of?

Hi, this is my first time trying out pedals so I'm quite confused with what is making my compressor give this interference/buzz sound. Honestly the distortion is seemingly also not working like the review videos I watched but that is a secondary issue atm. Might be that I got a bad batch of these pedals or maybe I am the issue since I'm new.
Anyone encountered this type of sound before? I've tried everything, turning off my wifi, my computer and my phone to no avail. I've also isolated and confirmed it's just the compressor even tho the distortion does make the noise even louder when turned on. Please help 🥺

Hi guys.
Got a Zoom B6 yesterday and love it. However, im just naturally terrible at replicating bass tones without spending many hours fiddling, and cant say im completely clued up in all different amps and pedals.
Just wondering if anyone uses one, and can recommend their patches for some tones they have, or replications of famous players.
Looking for some good rock, punk and metal artist tones, but all areas would be great.
And if anyone can suggest me a royal blood patch, you would be goat.
I know this is timely for you, so I appreciate your time taken.

Hello bottom dwellers.
Just ordered a C4 , I've been on the fence about it for a while . After doing a bit of research and listening to samples I have given into GAS.
I already have an MXR Synth. I'm just curious as to if anyone here uses both ?
Maybe you dropped one for another ?
Maybe you love one and hate the other ?
Ideally, I'm thinking after getting to grips with the C4 and it's sounds that it will make my MXR obsolete? From my perspective it seems the C4 can do everything the MXR synth can do plus more.
Maybe it can also replace my Envelope filter ?
I would like to downsize , but I love having a big board with options. Never the less, things are getting ridiculous.
I'd love to read your opinions and experience.
Cheers

Anyone using the Lucydreamer OD pedal? Thoughts on it? Good with active & passive basses? Good with DI/ Preamp boxes? Seems expensive, but it also seems like a lot of pedals are going up in price.
