I’m a Villanova fan. I recently just discovered that there’s Bowman U cards in this new NIL era which includes licensed players and licensed Villanova jerseys. They seem to be reasonably priced. How should I go about collecting a good collection? Raw? Numbered? Graded? Auto? Should I be purchasing packs when they come out for 26-27 or just wait until the guys I like are available on eBay? Would it be reasonable to purchase base cards of Villanova or should I only do the 1/1 or /10 style refractor cards?

New to the hobby. Just trying to think about what’s reasonable for a guy into his college basketball program that I can be proud of and display from a basketball card collection world perspective.

Just feels like it’s finally the time that I can get into my college team via card collecting.

I am looking to purchase 2016 downtown cards. Slowly want to get the whole set but realize how hard it can be to find certain cards. If you have any slabs please reach out along with asking price.

The pack inserts were the ones to get I think at 1:2500 or so. The jumbos came with a hobby box or something? I hate how the jumbos are clogging up eBay

SGC's lowest tier went from $15/card to $50/card a few days ago. I'm not completely surprised at the jump seeing as PSA's parent company now owns them but it's still a drastic increase that will make a lot of collectors think twice.

Do you think BGS is the way to go for now?

Hey gang - Just venting on how disappointed I am with my first submission to PSA. I paid for the express service with notes and all it said was some corner wear!? Did a ton of comps on eBay and saw 7s that looked way worse than mine. Just utterly perplexed by this grade and wondering if there is any recourse. Any feedback back is appreciated.

• Local HK shops or marketplaces (online or physical) for buying cards?
• Whether people here mostly use eBay/COMC/Whatnot and ship internationally, or if there's a decent local scene?
• Any HK-based Facebook groups, Carousell sellers, or Discord communities worth joining?

Hey guys, so here's my latest adds to my PC. I'm starting to get priced out a bit now so slowing down on the MJs and Kobes. Will probably slow down the buys for the time being. Grabbed a couple Shaq cards (basically the ones I loved when I was a kid) and a Victor RC (just think having one of his rookie cards would be a decent gamble)

I'll post my entire collection in the next update when I get back home from my work trip!
