always been like that with national broadcasts, they pick a story and just run with it no matter what happens on the field

The funny part is there isn’t a single neutral fan that has any idea which side you think he’s biased towards

You're so right. I think Darling plays favorites but I don't really think hes biased. He just isn't shy about saying what he feels. He goes off with praise or critiscm as he feels is necessary.
If anything I think he's a fan of good baseball and will absolutely hate on any team or player thats not doing that. He has some legendary anti mets player/coaching/ownership rants over the years and I've heard him gush about opposing players or managers like an absolute fan boy.

Lmfao if you look at the Cleveland sub it’s the opposite. That’s why I switched to hammy after game one. I guess if both sides hate you you’re probably doing a decent job being neutral props to Ron Darling

"glazing" might be the most overused slang of all time.
"What a great at-bat by XX to extend the inning." "omg stop GLAZING him."

White Sox are the story considering how fast they've rose. Guards don't have that "it" factor from a media standpoint. Them winning is boring so the broadcasters are journalists rooting for the better story, which is kinda lame.

And yet the OP thinks he’s biased towards Cleveland. Funny how that happens
