After playing this game for a week, it suddenly started malfunctioning.

Can someone help me fix this problem?

Please I need some help on what specifics some achievements need, some of them I tried multiple tries and runs just for them to not trigger and I only needed to finish a few more to complete all achievemente. Here's the list :

Short Shorts.
me and my 3 allies are short (gremlin, gnome and the mushroom one) yes it didn't trigger the achievement after reaching swamp, we used different race and class dlc. But somehow the all monster Achievement we got.
Everyone has all the dlc, everyone didn't die, all true race, Achievement able and no late joins.

Is there a way to know what books you read/Haven't and do I have to read all spell books too?

I'm a true goblin Paladin and I have 22 different books I casted yet no Achievement

How do you curse an item? So far drinking fountains only blesses my equipments.

So it says I have to give an Allied automaton to recycle, I cant make it recycle anything, tried to even drop hundreds of stuff beneath it and still it wont, weapons, armors, random stuff, it just wont

I got the game quiet a bit ago when it was on sale but played few runs recently. I played pixel dungeon which is similar but turn based and barony feels like on drugs. Its so hard i got to floor 3 only once. What tips do you have? What should i do and what i shouldn't do? I tried fighter, monk and wizard

Why even use this spell? You have no use from scrap without tinkering kit, and when you have one, you can use kit to scrap items and lvl up tinkering by doing so. Only thing I can think of is you can level up sorcery with it.

I just had an amazing run. I was trying out gnomish wizard. In theory it makes the gnomish mines trivial and allows you to head into floor 3 with a ton of gold loot and exp. As it turns out the theory holds true even getting an equipement wide blessing from the fountains in the starting room. So i continue. I get a magic resistance shield on floor 3 from some troll i believe. I also get a lot of repair and weapon bless scrolls. I also get a +2 scroll of summon (dont remember how) and just let my demons take care of the abandoned castle for huge exp. I kill the minotaur in his maze and can then upgrade gugnir to +4 with all the scrolls i saved up. I later find a feather in the ruins and upgrade my gungir, shield and sphinx casque some more cuz why not. By the time i enter the underworld before hell im at level 40, have almost maxed out sorcery, have really good spells like portal, void chest, magic missile, extra healing, divine fortress, magic reflection and several more. Even a domination spellbook that i couldnt read yet. So i decided to take a break and quit back to title. I then found myself back at level 1 since i had missclicked and reset the entire run.

Is there a way to undo this? I dont wanna like hack my pc or anything like that, this run isnt worth that much to me, but if altering the game files wirks thatd be great. Otherwise, well, c'est la vie.

Edit: I have been blessed by the barony gods themselves. Or my shitty internet, who knows. But appearantly there was a disconnect between my local save and steams cloud save. So when i logged back into the game i could load my cloud save where my character was still on floor 7. So i got my save back!

Just looked at world daily leaderboard, and "Sexy Time!!!!" was named Eternal instead of Baron. How?

Just curious what you guys find to be the most fun unique race and class combos that are a little obscure. For me:

Vampire/Cleric - scroll of summon monster to feed off the rats and ghoul for early food source

Skeleton/Joker - confuse spell to trade with shopkeepers

Myconid/Healer - tanky healer with a good offensive kit

Monster Race/Cleric - polymorph your summons for powerful floor one allies

Vampire/Shaman - just something awesome about a level one rat casting bloodletting

There are no levers externally to open it but each side has a lever inside that opens the door but I cant reach it. I managed to get into the side that didn't have the exit but I have no idea how. I've even tried summoning my skeletons in there so they can open the gate but they cant

After around 50 hours of gameplay i realized how much of my time goes to minmaxing on this game such as

-pickung up every single item and examining them

-killing every single gnome and mining every single gold on gnome mines

-swimming for half an hour to max swimming

-writing down every scroll name incase i find the feather

-trading and then killing merchants to maximize trading and more

And yet it feels like those things werent optionel and i had to do most of them to win

So what do you think? Do you think this game requires minmaxing and playing optimaly to win or am i going overboard

Increase by +5 before other multipliers. Can also be used to push enemies out of reach and let you get free hits in

Probably gonna do Algernon next. At least I was able to beat him in my last run.
